This place was awesome! Cozy, slightly smaller but had about 10 tables and some bar seating. The breakfast menu is amazing- the egg skillet and breakfast wrap were delicious!! Will definitely be back
When I say I savor every bite of the food here omg I really mean it. Feels like every cent is worth it because the food and coffee really is that good. I have gotten the Unido breakfast sandwich both times I’ve been here recently cuz it’s really just been what I’m craving but I tried a bite of the pancakes from a friend and they were absolutely delicious as well. The coffee is great, very smooth bold flavors. I’m very unsurprised with how busy it is on a Saturday at 10:30/11:00 am. They have laptop rules about which tables you can sit at but it feels very reasonable given the space and the number of people cycling through. Honestly one of the best cafes in DC and I get proven right every time I come back.
Lovely cafe with good food. The panasian rice is really good (although maybe a bit overpriced).
About half the cafe is a laptop free zone. Having both come here to work & come here to eat & read, I'd say it's a pro and a con. It's nice to know there will probably be a seat available if I want lunch. It's a little crowded if I want to have a latte and work.
This seems like a great spot for a coffee date or some laptop free solo time (reading, writing, etc.)

The largest location in D.C. of this coffee shop from Panama, if you love coffee with cool vibes, go to Unido just off of U Street NW. Open every day until 5 p.m., they sell a full coffee menu with a few food options.
Stopping in on a Friday in May around 3 p.m., there was a steady flow of customers, but I was still able to get a seat. They have tables, bar seating, and window seating.
Only waiting for about five minutes, my latte was strong and yet creamy.
There are two restrooms in the back and free Wi-Fi for customers. (The Wi-Fi password is on the receipt.)
