Balance Environmental Services (BES) is a Yukon-based, technical environmental and waste management consultancy that was founded by Devon Yacura, M.Sc., in January 2024. BES offers a range of environmental services including regulatory and permitting support, wildlife baseline studies, environmental monitoring and management, sewage and solid waste management, site assessment and remediation, and small-scale waste-to-energy studies. BES provides technical consulting services to a variety of clients including municipal and territorial governments, First Nations, development corporations, remote communities, mining corporation, construction, and private industry. BES can provide desktop technical writing services, as well as on-site remote field work.
