The Sweet Potato

Decided to give The Sweet Potato a try today, hoping for some high quality ready to eat meals despite the steep prices. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing. The combo meal included kale that was clearly stale and meatballs that tasted rancid. To top it off, I found a hair in the quiche absolutely disgusting. Given the prices, I expected far better quality and hygiene. I won’t be returning, and I can’t recommend this place to anyone.

We wanted to gift our daughter and partner a voucher from this great store. It has such a variety of quality food. We reside in Australia so the time difference presented a challenge. Shannon went above and beyond, the most amazing service I have ever experienced. Nothing was too much and my daughter was thrilled with the gift. If I lived in Toronto this would definitely be my favourite store. Thank you Shannon, you are a gem and Sweet Potato are so lucky to have you in their employment

I not only love the selection of items available here, but I also love the customer service provided by the friendliest staff. This location is wonderful, has lots of parking space and I also love the quality of their fresh baked goods. I mostly love to shop from that department since their baked goods make the perfect and easiest snacks and/or breakfast. The best part? Finding healthy and organic options. They've got fresh seafood. Shelves are full and I love the little details around the store, such as the maple leaf 🍁 added to the Canadian items. I love being able to support local and finding staff picks for when I'm not sure what to buy. I love their cheddar scones and their raspberry loaf. I also got their new bake at home product to try and can't wait to see how that goes.

I love the staff at this store. They acknowledge me when I walk in and say hello always. They go out of their way in regards to customer service. The cashier offered today to call someone to help me bring groceries to my car. So accommodating and for her to ask me made me feel very welcome. Also, the butcher offered to vacuum seal my meat as I stocked up. I greatly appreciated this gesture and felt like he went out of his way asking me this and vacuum sealing it for me. It made me feel appreciated as a customer. I love this store, the high quality products and the staff. Keep it up Sweet Potato. Customer service is key makes customers keep coming back. Thank you. 💗

Just writing to tell the staff how awesome they were. I did a demo here yesterday and everyone helped to set me up for success. I met a LOT of happy customers that used to shop at the other location that come all the way to the junction for a reason. Some of the awesome team members are Ben, Tobias and Nadiya but everyone helped to make the demo a success. Can't wait to come back in the warmer weather. Hugs.

I have been going to the sweet potato since they first opened and always have a great experience. Great quality and fair prices. I am writing this review because I just tried their sushi which is something new for them. It was delish! Fresh rice, fish and veggies. Loved it!

Nadia was so kind and helpful, she offered to carry my groceries to my car seeing I had my two small children with me.

Everyone here is also very friendly, always being so kind to my children, offering them stickers.

Good quality food, lots of sales!

Love the organic and fresh large grocery store in the junction and the new location which is easier to park by and access.

The interior is well organized, clean, bright and well stocked in a variety of items and selection.

The prices are more expensive ( as expected for any organic/health food store).

Fantastic to see such a great selection of produce with local options. Store is nicely laid out and the sale prices are quite good. Lots of space to get around with the carts. The parking lot provided is great to have as the area is getting very busy. Knowledgable staff that are helpful and friendly. I can now go to one place to get all of my favourite items and brands I also appreciate the I store samples that they often have. Some great ready to grab and go meal options.

This is Our Five Star Food Store. New Location, Fresh and Excellent Organic and Local Fruits and Vegetables. We love it!!! Healthy, Safe and Delicious. Best choice for your babies, children and family!!!
