Registered dietitian and wellness expert Leigh Healey has a passion for helping people choose the right foods in the grocery aisles, as well as working with them in the kitchen, teaching them how to prepare healthy meals. She has a wide range of experience, including with eating disorders, diabetes, weight management, heart disease and kidney disease. Leigh obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and completed her dietetic internship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. She is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the Nebraska Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics on the state and district level.
