Cataract MD

I had a complementary consultation with Lasik MD. Took me about 1 hour to complete the entire eye exam. The eye exam staffs were not that kind, they only asked me the questions that they were supposed to ask for the assessment. Anyway, after the exam I was not able to see clearly (since they put some eye drops in both of my eyes for some testing), and I was waiting in the waiting room. Then a marketing guy called me into his office to go over the result of the assessment. The first thing he handed over to me was a quotation for the surgery cost ($4040.00 with custom wavefront but no intralace ). Then the guy started talking like a telemarketing machine - non stop going over the 8 to 10 page surgery booklet and information materials without giving me a break to ask him a single question. Again, my vision was so blurry at that time, and I was not able to read anything while the guy was talking. After he finished talking, he tried to book a surgery date. Oh well, I was there for a hassle free complementary consultation to know about their fee for the surgery (since they don't advertise the actual surgery cost like Herzig or Bochner, being there to get the actual assessment was the only way to know the actual surgery cost), so I was not looking for actual surgery date booking on the spot without giving me any time to think about the 10 pages of information that he went through in 2 minutes. Also he did not look that professional, while he was explaining to me about the $4040.00 surgery procedure, he was trembling his leg like hell. I was really not impressed about the way he presented, plus, was not comfortable, since my eye was really blurry (could not read anything). So, I told him, I need to go back and think about this (plus need some time to digest the information in the 10 pages booklet). Basically he did not let me leave the room without booking a tentative surgery date. Gosh, I told him more than three times, I don't want to book a surgery date now, I need time to think about it. He kept on pushing me and pushing me to book a date, then, I finally told him, I really need to go back and think about this, so please don't book any surgery date for me!. Then the guy gave up and let me go. When I left the marketing guy's room, he did not say anything, not even Bye.
