Malene Ingram, MD received her Doctor of Allopathic Medicine from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Mich. She then completed her residency in General Surgery at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Ark., where she earned chief resident honors. She later completed her Advanced Laparoscopic Gastroenterology and Bariatric Surgery fellowship at University of South Florida Health Science Center in Tampa, Fla. Dr. Ingram is an American Board of Surgery Certified General Surgeon who has been performing weight loss surgery since 2006 and robotic bariatric surgery since 2012. She specializes in minimally invasive surgery, robotic surgery, bariatric surgery, and upper endoscopy. She is a member of several academic societies, including the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons and the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeons.
