Welcome to the Canadian Wheelchair Society! Our journey began in August 2019. Our organization was born from a heartfelt mission to extend a helping hand to individuals who yearn to experience the simple joys of life: the gentle breeze on their faces, the warmth of the sun on their skin. In our inaugural steps, we held an event brimming with hope and determination: a fundraiser aimed at not only raising funds but also spreading awareness about the needs of our community. During this momentous occasion, we were able to provide the gift of mobility and freedom by distributing 12 wheelchairs to those in need. This act of generosity marked the beginning of our unwavering dedication that spread not only in the Philippines but also in the Middle East and South Africa, thus the International Wheelchair Foundation was born.
