Active Dental Frisco

My experience at Active Dental was fantastic—the staff was warm, welcoming, and made me feel completely at ease. The dentist was gentle, thorough, and genuinely cared about my comfort and health throughout the entire visit.

Loved everyone at this office. Everyone was kind and professional and were able to give me clear instructions as to what work would need to be done. They were able to prep and act quickly for certain procedures as well as provide thorough and excellent work. Would definitely recommend 😊

Everyone at Active Dental is super nice and informative! I had Carlyssa as my hygienist and she was very knowledgeable about what was going on with my teeth. They had advanced technology that can show the wear on your teeth in a diagram that was super helpful in making informed decisions about my care. Dr. Nguyen was also very knowledgeable and helped clarify details regarding my teeth. I had a very pleasant experience and will definitely be coming back.

After going yrs without any treatment I found Active Dental on ZocDoc and had my first for an annual cleaning. Coming from a person who hasn’t had the best experience with dental offices and generally doesn’t like the dentist Active Dental is truly a breath of fresh air. The staff is amazing; specifically Dr. Nyguene, my hygienist Carlyssa, and assistant Jada. They really made me feel comfortable and were upfront and honest about my treatment plan. I am glad I found a dental office that my family and I can have longevity with.

First and foremost, front desk service was welcoming! Everyone was very friendly! Cariyssa, the hygienist, was sweet and had my mouth feeling super clean! The doctor, Dr. Nguyen was also very kind and informative; she answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable. 10/10, will be back!

Dr. Nguyen and the dental team were beyond amazing, gentle, thorough, and truly took the time to explain everything in detail. I never once felt rushed or like just another patient. They genuinely care about your comfort and long-term dental health.

Amazing team! Made me feel good about my concerns and answered all my questions thoroughly. Been scared to go to the dentist due to a past traumatic experience but they were absolutely understanding and gained my trust by being great listeners and dentists. Recommend the place for sure 10/10😊

The staff here was all very friendly and attentive! Leslie and Carlyssa took great care of me during my visit and Dr. Nguyen was very helpful in discussing treatment options for my teeth. The entire staff was thorough in everything they did, including helping sort out an insurance/payment issue. It was my first visit and they did a great job of taking care of me and I will definitely be using them as my dentist moving forward.

After being 5 minutes late to my appointment the lovely receptionist (Tori) called me to confirm about my appointment. This goes to show that they do care about your teeth. I didn’t even sit at the lobby they just took me in. Canyssa was so lovely and took good care of me. Got my teeth cleaned and took lots of pictures of my teeth. Dr.Nguyen was amazing too she helped me understand my teeth. This facility has the sense of urgency to take care of their patients. Thank you ladies 🎀

Let me start by saying I am not generally a huge fan of the dentist. I have never enjoyed going. In saying that, the people at Active Dental Frisco genuinely make my dentist appointments enjoyable and something to look forward to and not dread. Every single staff member has made me feel comfortable and seen. Dr. Nguyen actively listened to me and heard my concerns. She suggested treatment plans and explained them fully so I didn’t have any questions. Tori has never failed to make me feel welcome and is always down to chat about all sorts of things. I tend to ramble when nervous and Tori would listen and engage with me before I was called back each and every time. She’s never failed at breaking down costs in an understandable and easily digestible way. I highly highly highly recommend this dentist and this location. I cannot say enough nice things about them and truly know I will never find another dentist who can measure up. Please do yourself a favor and check them out! Also, Dr. Nguyen cares about the comfort of her patients more than any other dentist I’ve been to. She works hard to make sure what is numb stays numb when needed and communicates with her patients to make sure they’re comfortable.

Went in for a root canal expecting it to take a long time given past experiences with other dentists, but to my surprise it was done quickly and effectively. It was also wonderful to see her pay it forward by doing on hand training. Amy is an amazing doctor! She was super kind and considerate. I am so happy to say found my dentist!

I wouldn’t say this lightly but I love going to the dentist! The staff here is incredibly nice and thorough. I just went in for a cleaning and it was only 15 mins! Faster than brewing a cup of tea— amazing!

My appointment was great!! They are very in-depth with their care and are committed to helping out, i was a new patient and they were very welcoming, i will definitely be coming back!

I am so glad I came to active dental! Dr Nguyen was very reassuring and gave great treatment. Carlyssa and Zoraida were so kid and helpful with my intake and I really appreciated the front staff and their friendly manner!

New patient here, possibly in need of some pricey dental work (my own fault unfortunately). And as someone who gets very anxious about ever going to the dentist, I have to say this is the only dental office I have ever been to where I didn’t feel uncomfortable or judged. Everyone, from reception and billing, the dental hygienist, to the dentist were all incredible and caring. I’m 100% confident they will take good care of me and so very glad I tried them today. First time in and it was a wonderful experience. Typically don’t like going to the dentist (actively avoided it for as long as I could) but coming to this dentist changed my point of view. Everyone was very friendly and explained everything in detail for me. They put my mind at easy and made it really each to schedule a 6 month check up and set up a treatment plan. Going to my dentist forever!

Dr. Amy Nguyen was excellent. Her office and staff were great and she helped me with the issues I was having. Highly recommend this beautiful practice. I also appreciated all the state of the art equipment and technology the office had.
