TIER Restoration

Tier encapsulated our crawlspace in 2021. We were happy with choosing them at the time. Now we are more than happy.

Back in 2021, they were easy and pleasant to work with, thorough in their assessment and explanation, and significantly less expensive than other “chain” crawlspace companies. They offered the best warranty. And they did great work. We identified one issue after they were done and they were quick to come back out and fix it.

Fast forward four years to 2025 and we are selling our house. While selling, the new buyers’ inspection uncovered some minor issues in the crawlspace. Honestly, the issues were more due to my lack of attention and care as a homeowner rather than any issues from Tier. I reached out to Tier and talked with Greg, the owner. He went out of his way to schedule someone to come out to our house the very next day.

Tier fixed up our crawlspace and got it in perfect condition for the sale of our house for no cost to us.

Talking with and working with Greg and Lynn, the owners has been wonderful. Great price, great product, great people, great warranty, great service. I will be telling everyone I know to use Tier.

Greg was so helpful on the phone when I called about a potential mold issue. He logically set out the steps I should follow and in a precise order. It made perfect sense and absolutely nailed our issue I am certain. He willingly gave his time to make sure I understood everything. I’m so frustrated with mold professionals fear mongering and just selling whatever is on their wagon. Greg has helped identify the problem and offered a game plan, all without charging me a cent. I will definitely use him for anything that requires a professional and recommend him for anyone who has a mold problem.

While, I didn’t have to end up fully using their services, he still has helped me understand how homeowners insurance works, and all of the steps they take when filing a claim and how he and his team work to support the person who is actually going through whatever problem they are facing to ensure you are getting properly taken care of. I learned so much from Greg and he made me feel so much more confident while dealing with this leak we had in our home and I felt so much comfort knowing he was at my side answering the many questions I had as this was such a learning experience. He is a very smart man who gave me advice as if I were his own daughter. I will definitely be calling him back with any issue I may face down the road.

The owner of this company, Greg, is an incredibly honest, kind, and warm person. A company is truly only as solid as their leader, and I chose this company because Greg was at the helm. I got to know him a few years ago when he evaluated a mold situation at my last house, and he was the most thorough and insightful person I had come look at the situation. We ended up not moving forward with that project, but when we needed our crawl space treated for mold in our new house, I knew exactly who to call. I called Greg and with zero hesitation he gave me 30 minutes on the phone explaining their process. Most of the time, it is hard to even get in touch with the people at the top. He is very much involved in the process of guiding and training his team, and the guys who did the work on our crawlspace were so kind as well. Victor and Carlos was so responsive and helpful and committed to doing excellent work. The end result is amazing and we have a super clean crawlspace now.

I’m glad I had Victor from Tier restoration dropping by and inspecting my home for possible mold problem after a bathroom flooding incident. Victor carefully inspected the bathroom and the adjacent rooms decided we did not have any actively growing mold problem then advised us how to keep the area dry and clean. Victor, also graciously accepted to inspect the tight crawlspace Under the house for mold problems. He, again, Provided excellent feedback for keeping the crawlspace free of mold in the future, after finding no problems. I appreciate Victor‘s great manners, professional service and honest opinion. My wife and I are finishing a brand new home construction and after spending a fortune on lumber during a pandemic we were held up on a number of steps to complete the build because of an unknown subsurface water table or spring that caused our crawlspace to hold several inches of water in some places.

After many months and countless hours of trying to manually pump out the water, digging holes for five gallon buckets I made into sump buckets (complete with filtering fabric and rock) and running fans I was getting nowhere. And nearly every inch of the brand new lumber we’d paid so dearly to get and build with was covered in mold. Tier Restoration came in with the most competitive estimate, and earliest start date, and their services included mold remediation. They were prompt and quick. The project took longer than anticipated because the subsurface water was more than anticipated, but they installed additional drainage lines under the house. Our lumber looks like new again everywhere, and the finished product is a crawlspace that is clean, and, with the help of the dehumidifier they installed, getting drier by the minute.

The project is not cheap; the materials are expensive the the work is labor intensive. But the peace of mind I have with a mold-free, encapsulated crawlspace is worth every penny, and the folks at Tier Restoration communicated with me at every step, even when the news (regarding more water than expected) wasn’t always great. They got it done right, and so far the end result is wonderful. You can bet I’ll recommend them to others.
