Family medicine kind of chose me. I thought for sure I was going to do pediatrics, and then I did my two family medicine rotations and I was like, nope, that's it. I like seeing all the different age groups. It's a really unique specialty because you have the time and ability to sit down and actually get to know the patients and build that rapport. That benefits their care because you're able to do what's best for that person as an individual.
