She completed her family medicine residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and proud member of the Obesity Medicine Association. Dr. Garnica-Moya enjoys getting to know her patients and understanding their concerns to provide personalized counseling on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Her special interests include preventative, obesity and lifestyle medicine. In her spare time, Dr. Garnica-Moya enjoys Atlanta United, Hawks and Braves games.
