Angela is an extraordinary massage therapist. I was hesitant to try an ashiatsu massage treatment at first but was so glad I did. With this method and her expertise she is able to treat broader areas with fantastic steadiness and control. She finds spots, in what feels as an intuitive way, I wasn’t aware needed attention. Her workspace is calming and peaceful, and her presence is as well. Highly highly recommend!

I am a long term believer (30 yrs) in massage therapy. Angela is the best masseuse I have ever encountered. She is thoughtful, reasonable, creates a serene environment, and really cares about her patients and their specific needs. Whether you want a deep tissue or anywhere in between, she is your go to massage therapist for SLO county!

I started going to Banyan Tree and getting massage therapy from Angela circa 2009 as a way to de-stress during grad school. More recently, I have been receiving regular massage therapy to help me heal after a significant injury that resulted in loss of movement and chronic pain. No matter if it was for self care or pain management, I have always left Banyon Tree feeling better. Angela is a true healer.

Angela Bothwell is a true healer - I have been seeing Angela for about 4 years now. I have chronic pain that I have to deal with about every two months before it's too annoying, and one 90 minute session with Angela always seems to get rid of it. usually by the second of third day after the massage, I end up feeling like I have a new body! She is careful, and knows exactly what you are feeling. I don;t know how she does it. she has truly magical touch that you just cannot find anywhere else.

Angela is amazing! I have been to see her several times, and have been referring all of my friends to her because she truly listens to clients and and their needs. I have never had a massage therapist be so intuitive before, she knows exactly the type of work my body needs, and does amazing deep tissue massage for those troubled areas! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to release some stress and or pain. I always leave her office feeling refreshed.

Angela is hands down one of the most talented, intuitive, compassionate and knowledgeable massage therapists that I have ever been to. And, living with chronic pain, I have had a lot of massages in my life! Her massage room is very clean, inviting, warm and professional.
