Ms. Mejia is hands down the most phenomenal music teacher there is. I have known her for a long time and have seen first hand the magic she works at molding students, who may have never even touched an instrument before, into a harmonious orchestra in literally no time. The last time I went to see one of her student’s concerts I was blown away when I found out that it was her beginner class! They sounded was if they had been playing together for years! I would have sworn they were advanced players! Her students absolutely love her too because she is relatable and fun but also holds them to high standards and pushes them beyond what they ever could have imagined for themselves as musicians.

Ms. Mejia is the most amazing orchestra instructor! She loves what she does and you can see it in her teaching. Her teaching style is stern and specific, focusing on the details. So when it is time to play, her students know how to play correctly.

I love attending her student's concerts! You can see and hear how disciplined they are! They are all so respectful and you can see that they love playing as well.

My daughter plays the viola and absolutely adores Ms. Mejia. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone - regardless of age!

Ms. Mejia is a great teacher in every sense! She understands each student as an individual and works on their specific strengths and weaknesses with them. In addition, she also cares about her students being good and reflective people. You will not just learn music (and you will learn music), but you will also learn how to express yourself and connect with others through music.

Ms. Mejia has been my daughter's violin tutor for over a year. My daughter's technical skills and ability have skyrocketed outside of her orchestra class at school thanks to Ms.Mejia's tutelage. Franchesca Mejia is an incredible teacher. She makes lessons for her students individually, and her teaching places an emphasis on improvement as well as detail. She has a guiding hand to help strengthen even the weakest points of a student. She was my teacher for around 6 years, and I would not have improved as fast as I have if not for Ms. Mejia. Ms.Mejia was my first and most favorited Orchestra instructor. She taught me everything I knew about double bass, Enhanced my love for it, and allowed me to flourish in the sense of loving the world of music more than I already did. She took my musical understandings and gave me the gift of learning how to play classical music. Along with Jazz, Pop culture, and etc. Ms.Mejia never made me feel as though our differences in the classroom was something to be ashamed of. Because in the real world and the musical world, it is our differences that get our names to be remembered, and our differences is how we are able to leave our marks on the world. Ms.Mejia taught me everything I know, her lessons are worthwhile and more are much needed to grow as a musician!
