Worst customer service. I went for a dinner with my wife. Ordered couple of items with drinks. Couple who came 10-15 min after us were served before we got our appetizer. Upon asking the waitress about why it took so long, with the attitude she said oh the receipt didn’t went to the kitchen and gave me stare… what sort of service is that?! Food (chicken verde) was soo bland no taste at all.. and the girl who served food also put dishes on the table without any smile or eye contact felt like they didn’t wanted us there. I tipped them bcz I wanted to support local business and they charge when you place the order… how will you know about the quality of food?!

Authentic Mexican food! I had only ever been to the previous location and it was one of my favorite Edmonton restaurants and this one also did not disappoint! They still have the BEST strawberry daiquiris! Anything I have ever gotten off the menu is great! This time we got the Tostadas (absolutely delicious) and pork tacos. Always get some chips to snack on too as they are deep fried to perfection!
Stopped by for the Calle Mexico tortas. Flavor was pretty good though I felt the chicken was a bit mushy. I liked the salsa bar, it was great to mix and match the different sauces and toppings. Prices were fair and better than some other Mexican places in town. Overall a pretty good experience and wouldn't mind going back.
The food was amazing! It was authentic and did not disappoint. I ate here on the fly, I was able to order a main and desert. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of a Mexican restaurant and will be returning.

Service is above average, the server I had was very nice. Food is good, definitely above average from what I’ve had in Edmonton for Mexican food. I am Mexican so I definitely criticize Mexican food a little more than the average reviewer. I had an order of carne asada (steak) tacos and an order or carne asada sopes. Taste was definitely good, they keep it simple and close to authentic. The size seemed a little smaller than usual for both the tacos and the sopes, especially for the price. Their horchata is a 5/5. I will definitely come back since Mexican food options are limited in Edmonton and this is one of the better Mexican options here.
For Fridays it is a little louder because they have karaoke 🎤 so that’s sweet. The family is friendly doesn’t rush you to leave. The food was yummy but the rice portion just seemed a little small.
After years of wanting to try this establishment's food, we finally did as our last hurrah before moving across the province. Stepping inside was walking into my favourite restaurant in Cancun, every aspect of it reminded me of the place where I found my absolute love and adoration for food.
I ordered the Al Pastor Tacos, I hadn't had those since being in Mexico, and honestly, I had high expectations, and those expectations were immediately met. From scent to texture to flavor, it all was exactly as it should be.
I also had the horchata, which was light and delectable. I love the spices used, and it was a phenomenal way of finishing off our meal.
Everything about Calle Mexico is absolute perfection. Every moment made me feel like I was back at Tacos Rigos in Cancun. I also love that they have a simple menu featuring a solid but simple lineup of dishes. Nothing felt like it didn't belong in any way.

The food here is as expected...amazing. the service is good they are very nice and friendly, I think 1 more person would have made a huge difference though. I could see people all around me getting annoyed with the wait time.

Super authentic tacos!!! So yummy and they have reasonable pricing. 4 tacos for $17-18 and nachos were $18.50.
Ladies serving us were nice and we really appreciated the quick service!! Food came out like 5-10mins after we ordered. I recommend the nachos and the chicken tacos. There aren't many veggie options unfortuantely.
Large tables to accommodate bigger groups and they have a nice patio as well! Will be coming back :)
