We actually stumbled upon this Armenian restaurant by accident — and we’re so glad we did!
Everything was absolutely delicious, but the highlight was definitely the platter kebab for two. It was perfectly grilled, and full of flavor. It came with fresh fattoush salad, rice, and grilled vegetables that complemented the meats perfectly.
Every bite was satisfying, and you can really taste the quality and care in the food.
We’ll definitely be coming back!

We celebrated my husband’s birthday yesterday at Mayrik, and it was truly a 5-star experience! The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The restaurant is lovely, very clean, and has such a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The owner was incredibly attentive and made us feel so welcome. And Mateo, our server, provided outstanding service—professional, friendly, and very attentive throughout the evening.
Everything was perfect. We will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

I had an overall great experience at Mayrik. The food, the vibe, and the service were all excellent.
From the Khorovatz, I ordered the 14oz Prime Striploin with Sheppard pepper and charmoula, cooked medium—and it was absolutely perfect. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked exactly right.
From the salata, I had the Kokkini with Ontario asparagus, labneh, honey, and rainbow beets. The combination was amazing, and the olive oil and za’atar flavors blended beautifully.
We were also offered a complementary hummus with Armenian flatbread, and the hummus was incredibly creamy—I loved it.
Highly recommend Mayrik for both the food and the overall experience.

First visit to Mayrik, and it was a mix of great food and some frustrating service gaps.
Let’s start with the positives; the food is genuinely very tasty. The appetizers paired with the fresh bread were an excellent way to kick off the meal, full of flavour and beautifully prepared. The kebab platter was the clear highlight of the evening. All the different proteins were cooked to perfection: tender, juicy, and seasoned just right. From a culinary perspective, Mayrik definitely delivers and shows why it has a strong reputation.
Unfortunately, the experience was let down by the beverage side of things. The selection of alcoholic drinks is quite limited, and availability seems to be an issue. We initially ordered a Polish beer we all enjoy, only to be told they had just one can left. We then moved on to a Greek white wine listed on the menu and after waiting, we were informed it was sold out. The same thing happened again with a bottle of rosé. Being told multiple times that items on the menu were unavailable became frustrating and took away from an otherwise enjoyable meal.
Overall, Mayrik shines when it comes to food quality, but the lack of drink availability and communication around it needs improvement. With better inventory management on the beverage side, this could easily be a standout dining experience.

This dinner was an absolute delight! The food was so incredibly delicious; seriously, every bite was amazing.
The atmosphere was pleasant, but the service was truly the highlight and the absolute best part of the evening. The person who served us was super kind and friendly. He even spoke to us in Spanish, which was a lovely surprise! He treated us to some complimentary cheese rolls, which was such a generous touch.
His exceptional attention turned an already delicious and perfect meal into a truly memorable experience. Highly, highly recommended!
My photos truly don't do justice to how delicious this food was!

Service was quick
reservation was needed. They were packed.
The food was above average
The hood is not super strong so you smell the open kitchen naturally but over all the decor and set up was ok
The food menu is decent
Wine menu doesn’t have much variety but the Armenian and Greek wine options are good

Service was lovely and the food was tasty. Went late in the evening so the restaurant wasn’t too busy. We got to try a bit of everything as we shared the dishes as everything sounded delicious. Will definitely return if I’m ever in the area again
This a wonderful spot we found on Bayview while visiting Toronto. Amazing food, excellent service and great atmosphere. Provides indoor and outdoor dining. Indoor you get the wonderful aroma of spices from food being prepared in the open kitchen.
Our server provided some options to try which of course we did and loved them all.
This is a must while in Toronto and we will definitely return!

I’d been wanting to try this Armenian restaurant because of its high ratings. I read great reviews about the dumplings, so we ordered those along with the mixed kebab. Unfortunately, the dumplings were disappointing — the wrapper was thick and mushy, with very little meat inside. The beef kebabs were good, but the chicken was slightly overcooked and dry. The salad that came with the mixed kebab was way too acidic or sour, which threw off the balance of the dish.
We also tried the tequila-based Mayrik cocktails, which we didn’t enjoy. We initially planned to have wine, but the ones they offered for tasting seemed corked or past their prime.
Service could use some improvement. Our server kept asking if we were done and repeatedly tried to clear the table, which made us feel rushed. The manager wasn’t the friendliest either, which didn’t help the overall experience.
Would I come back? Probably not

I had heard good things about this restaurant online and decided to give it a try for my birthday, and I couldn’t have been more happy with this choice. EVERY dish we ordered, an we ordered quite a few, was phenomenal. The service was also amazing! I 100% recommend Mayrik and can’t wait to return!
Excellent restaurant for family outing and to try Armenian-Lebanese (Mediteranian) cuisine.
Anything you pick on the menu is tasty and healthy. Generally, the food belongs to those 'Blue Zones' where people live happier and longer.
The service was good and we brought leftovers as well.. :)
We will definitely visit again !

Really good spot for traditional Middle Eastern food with an elevated twist. Apps were absolutely tasty and fresh! Had the kebabs as the main and they were flavourful and cooked perfectly. Great place to bring your family or have a cozy date night.
everything we tried was delicious! highly recommend the 3 dip sampler, incredible flavours and so luscious. note that google says opening time is 11:30 but they actually opened at noon on Saturday.
Worst restaurant experience in Toronto.
Food was not even near the authentic dishes. The Raw Kyufta which is a savory dish for all Armenians was not even close to being what it was supposed to be. On top of that, the waiter said the mixed barbecues were good for four, the owner said later was for 6 to probably justify the price tag of 145$ which was not even on the menu. On top of that, they forced the Tip of 35$ without having the option to choose otherwise. When we called and complained to the owner, he said you should go somewhere else. Well, thank you for your hospitality!
Unpleasant experience and a very bad customer service.

We were treated like stars. It was evident that the staff took pride in their work. There are a lot of options on the menu for vegetarians, and they are quite filling. The food somewhat is a resemblance to Middle Eastern food but with a bit of twist. I was surprised that the space was very quiet on a Saturday night considering such delicious food and excellent service.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mayrik for the first time, and I am so glad I did. From start to finish the experience was incredible. The food was absolutely delicious. Each dish was perfectly prepared and with so much flavour. The service was equally impressive with friendly and attentive staff, who made us feel right at home! We will definitely be coming back and will be recommending this gem to all our friends and family. Thank you so much 🙂 - Yana
Wow! Wow! Wow!
Impeccable food, service and atmosphere we cannot say enough good about our first experience here tonight.
To begin with the food was delectable, from the humus, to the kibbeh, the meat all the way to dessert the whole meal was a delight. The chef Tony does a great job with his team adding to the atmosphere of the restaurant it’s great to see the open concept kitchen and get an insight into how some of the food is prepared, this paired with the aromas of the food makes for a treat for the senses whilst waiting for the food to arrive!
The waiting staff are amazing and really added to the experience, our servers were friendly yet still
Professional as well as being welcoming to children and catered to all our needs with above and beyond devotion.
We Finished the evening off with tea and desserts which really was the icing on the cake the atmosphere was so lovely that we actually stayed up until closing.
The best food paired with amazing service highly recommend you to try this restaurant!

Lovely room.
Excellent service.
We had the chicken kebobs: the presentation was beautiful.
The chicken was tender, the fries delicious, the grilled veggies yummy and most notable, the house salad: not the standard, anemic iceberg lettuce but a lovely concoction of greens, cherry tomatoes, red onions, cucumbers in a splendid dressing.
We had the yogurt dessert: good and refreshing.
All in all, a lovely lunch.

I am little acquainted with Armenian cooking, but I was very impressed with the fare on offer at Mayrik. Located in the heart of the Bayview/Millwood shopping area, the restaurant gave us an excellent introduction to unusual and tasty flavours, from the appetizers to dessert. I particularly liked the lamb chops. Highly recommended
A mix of Mediterranean food and dishes with less than expected Armenian proposals but several from Lebanon. In general the food is well prepared and the service kind and nice. Meat, especially the armenian traditional dish, should improve. Pistacchio armenian cake ok while pita bread is delicious.
