Xperience Games Calgary - Escape Room & VR

This escape room is the most mind blowing one I’ve tried in Calgary. Tried the Alchemist. All the puzzles and the electrical props are sooo cool! Plus the sounds effect! Definitely recommended!

Absolutely amazing we killed it obviously but we definitely needed some help if a bit more time is needed they will allow you to finish so no one leave angry pants. Staff is friendly with a great sense of humor so crack a joke they'll love it 100/10 definitely coming back to once again destroy the rooms with total confidence.

We had a great time here! The escape room was great and we loved all the tech. The lights, sensors and puzzles were so fun to do with our kids and I appreacted they gave us 5 extra mins to finish as we were very close to finishing. Will definitely go back when their next one opens up!

I recently played The Alchemist escape room, and it was one of the most enjoyable and well-designed experiences I’ve had. From the moment we stepped into the room, the immersive story pulled us in. The setting was atmospheric and believable, with just the right mix of mystery and magic to set the tone.

The puzzles were a perfect balance of fun, high-tech, creative, and thoughtfully integrated into the room. It never felt like we were solving puzzles for the sake of it; everything flowed naturally and contributed to the story. Best of all, nothing felt frustrating or tedious. The clues made sense, the difficulty was fair, and the pacing kept us engaged the whole time.

If you're looking for an escape room that blends technology, storytelling, and clever puzzle design, The Alchemist is a must-try. Highly recommended!

We played The Alchemist room at Xperience Games today and had an amazing time! From the moment we walked in, the owner and staff were super friendly and welcoming, which really set a great tone for the experience.
The room itself was incredibly immersive. The story was well thought out, and the background details really pulled us into the world. You can tell a lot of care went into the design. It’s also a high-tech room with clever puzzles and mechanisms that made it feel modern and exciting.
The puzzles were definitely challenging, but it wasn’t frustrating. Everything felt fair and logical.
Overall, a fantastic experience. I highly recommend checking out The Alchemist at Xperience Games. We'll definitely be back to try their other rooms!

The Alchemist room is unlike any other escape room we’ve done before! It had very unique puzzles and they all were different and worked well. We loved it and would HIGHLY recommend to anyone! Having such interactive puzzles kept it fun and interesting. It’s also attainable to actually complete and not too hard or too easy. We can’t wait to come back!

My daughter and I had so much fun in this escape room! It’s a different kind of experience that’s more tactile and immersive that time flew by! The owner was so accommodating and extended our time because he wanted us to complete the puzzle. So thoughtful and 11/10 will definitely return!

Absolutely our best Escape Room experience as a family so far!! The innovative technology was amazing, and it was such a satisfying experience. We got to carry out The Alchemist (real life escape room) for my daughter’s 18th birthday and 4 of her siblings. Everyone had so much fun, and the owner (Jimmy) is awesome as well!! Thank you for a memorable time. We’re excited to return and experience their additional escape rooms. HIGHLY recommend!!

We did the room with our 8 year old, and we all had such a great time! We love tech based rooms! And the owner was so nice. We enjoyed talking to him about his escape room passion. Hope they come to Edmonton soon. :)

Double date night success! Alice was such a cool experience for our first VR locked room - there was no gore or suspense; stress free new experience. The physical space was clean, the host was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and responsive. Will definitely return with family or for birthday party experience (they have a party room too).

I had an amazing time at Xperience Games Calgary! The puzzles were unique and differs from previous traditional escape rooms, yet fun, and the storyline was really engaging. The owner was friendly and made sure we understood everything before we started, which made the experience stress-free. We did The Alchemist room and the set design was incredibly detailed—it truly felt like we were in another world. It was the perfect activity for a group outing, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and exciting challenge. Can't wait to try their other rooms next time!

Took our 9 and 11yr old for a VR escape room. What a great experience. Kids had a blast and were way ahead of us. Clean, well laid out and very friendly owner made sure this was a great experience that provided great value.

One of the newest if not newest escape room locations in the city. The room is highly interactive and all puzzles are electronic. Very nice difference from the old school lock and key.

If you’re looking for more of an immersive experience and story this is the place for you. Might not be the one to go to if you’re just trying to speed run rooms.

We chatted a bit with the owner and he said he should hopefully have another room up in 2-3 months and we’re looking forward to trying that one out too. Highly recommend!

This escape room is incredible. It’s so unique, as if you’re playing a real life video game! It is evident that there was so much thought that went into the room & storyline. The owner, Jimmy, told my group we completed the story with an alternate ending & happily let us play the regular ending afterwards.
I 100% recommend this place, and I cannot wait for the other rooms to open!

Very unique experience! We did the Alchemist and you can recognize the amount of effort put into the story and the puzzles throughout the room. It was the most interactive one we’ve done so far and highly recommend the escape room.

We stopped by randomly and thankfully they were able to squeeze us in for the VR Escape room. Never did a VR escape room before, but it was so much fun!! The staff was so friendly, and helpful. It’s also very well priced! 10/10 highly recommend, and will definitely come back again!

I've done many escape rooms, but this one is by far the best. Currently only one room but it is great quality. Everything is tech-based so you don't have to struggle with locks that don't open etc.. If the other rooms they build are of this quality, I will be coming back for sure. By far the best escape room in YYC!!!

My partner and I do a lot of escape rooms, and this is the first high tech one we’ve done. It was a really cool experience, and we’re really excited to see what new rooms they come up with and to try them out!

A great experience for us today! This is an escape room which includes a verbal story as you solve the puzzles! Really clear, step by step instructions, constantly capturing your attention and curiosity towards the game! I would definitely visit when I’m in town again!

Absolutely loved "The Alchemist" escape room. We completed it last night and couldn't stop talking about it on the way home. The storyline was immersive and helped guide you through the puzzles (instead of a traditional room where you are working through 3 at once with 0 guidance). We were sooooo close to the secret ending, but due to time starting to run down, we had accidently moved past it. They were generous enough to still let us experience it!! The staff was incredibly friendly and listened/requested feedback. Was a great way to round off an evening and can't wait for their next room.

Overall very fun and challenging! We did The Alchemist in a group of 4 and the puzzles offered a good group collaboration. Can definitely recommend and we would go back to try the VR challenges they have available as well.

Awesome experience! It had different components and puzzles that were in different levels of difficulty and was pretty challenging and fun to work out with my friends. The owner was very friendly and open to feedback, very well coordinated as well. Can’t wait for new rooms to open up to try out :)
