Affective counseling is a wonderful place to go with therapists that are knowledgeable, empathetic, and respectful. The diversity of therapists and coverages is wide so there are good odds you will be able to find someone to work with, and they also accept a good number of insurances as well. Like all therapies it requires open communication from both parties but I have never had an issue with that here. I have been working with my therapist there since the beginning of the practice and I cannot recommend it enough if you are looking for a lifeline, help with a specific issue, or just keeping up with your mental health. There truly is nowhere else I’d rather get therapy from.

The therapists at Affective Counseling have been highly effective in helping me navigate thru my own personal mental health journey. My personal therapist, Katie, has always made me feel welcome and safe within her office. I trust her completely and always feel like I can speak about anything without prejudice from her with any of my issues. I have been to many therapists and she has been the best I have dealt with. I often recommend them to my own friends and family members. I always look forward to therapy because I know I am in such good hands. I am so happy I found this group and plan on continuing with Affective Counseling for the foreseeable future.
