Located 10 miles from downtown San Diego, near San Diego State and below Cowles Mountain, this 6,000-yard William Bell-designed course features a unique blend of scenery as it traverses a valley on the first nine holes then wanders the shores of Lake Murray for a challenging second nine. In 1990, Mission Trails Golf Course hosted a young Tiger Woods as he established his championship legacy early on by winning the Optimist Junior World Championship. Mission Trails Golf Course boasts a lighted driving range with grass hitting stalls and offers meeting and banquet packages.
