The best way to establish trust with patients is to have open and honest conversations. My goal is just to visit with them and find out what their needs are. Once we've done that, then we can come up with a health care plan that fits their lifestyle. I enjoy being in the operating room, but I also enjoy delivering babies and spending time in the clinic as well. At the end of the day, my job is to help patients make decisions that are right for them.
