This is one of my favorite places to get butter chicken; the sauce is better than anywhere else in RI, BUT the chicken lacks quality. The large cubes of what I think are chicken breast have no flavor and are always dry. Smaller pieces of chicken or using chicken thighs would make this dish absolutely perfect. Also, in one order I maybe get about 5 pieces of cubed chicken, not enough for 20$. Please try to use smaller pieces of chicken OR chicken thighs and the dish will be perfect.

We had an absolutely fantastic dinner at Kinnera Indian Restaurant in Rhode Island! As visitors from NYC, we were so impressed by the delicious food and wonderful hospitality.

Every dish we ordered was a hit. We started with the Stuffed Mirchi, Chicken Lollipop, Samosa Chaat, and Veg Manchurian, which were all packed with flavor. For our main courses, the Chana Masala (perfectly spicy), Malai Kofta, and Paneer Handi were all delicious. The Bullet Naan was especially awesome—we can't recommend it enough!
The service was also incredibly quick and attentive.

We have to give a special shout-out to the owner, Pavan. He was so nice and welcoming. Not only did he give us a free dessert, but he also took the time to suggest some places for us to see in Rhode Island.

Overall, it was a great experience from start to finish. We truly loved it and highly recommend Kinnera to anyone looking for amazing Indian food and service.

Absolutely loved my dinner here on a Saturday night. The food is easily the most authentic I've had outside of India—even better than places in NYC and Boston. Beyond the incredible flavors, the ambiance is beautiful and the service is truly impeccable. The owner was so welcoming and the portions were huge, giving us three meals' worth of food. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for real, outstanding Indian food.

My husband and I had dinner at this gem of a restaurant tonight. The food was EXCELLENT, the portions were generous, and the service professional yet friendly. We left with a large bag of delicious food that will give us another whole meal. We had Chicken Tikka Kabab and Chicken Biryani with Garlic Naan. On weekends they offer 40+ different dishes to try at their buffet. We are so impressed and eager to return. This place is immaculately clean and attractively decorated. Highly recommend it!!

I recently dined at Kinnera, and it was an unforgettable experience! The moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm, inviting atmosphere and the tantalizing aromas wafting from the kitchen. I ordered the butter chicken and garlic naan, and both were nothing short of divine. The butter chicken was perfectly spiced, rich and creamy, with a delightful depth of flavor that kept me coming back for more. The naan was soft, fluffy, and the ideal companion for soaking up every bit of that luscious sauce.

The service was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive. If you're looking for authentic Indian cuisine that delights the senses, Kinnera is a must-visit. I'll definitely be returning soon!

I came here to eat with my Wife on a nice Saturday evening and could not be happier. Easily the best Indian restaurant in RI, and honestly better than anything I've had in NYC or Boston. The food is outstanding, super authentic, and on par with some of the best places I've eaten at in India. Aside from the food, the decor and ambiance are way over what I expected from an Indian restaurant. Very nice lighting, decor, supremely clean as well. They have nice music playing as well. The service is impeccable. The owner came out to greet us and was very genuine and extremely pleasant to talk to. The prices are very reasonable when you consider the portion sizes. We ordered what we usually get from other Indian restaurants and ended up with enough food for 3 meals. I cannot recommend this place enough. Get away from those Americanized places and try real Indian food.

Very very good. We both got chicken tikka masala entrees, it was delicious, flavorful and the portions were larger than other places we’ve been to. Even though we didn’t get the buffet the owner came over to us and told us to try the masala tea that was located in the buffet which we appreciate. (It was very good and is a must try if your a tea person) He’s very accommodating and really makes this place warm and welcoming. Prices were reasonable as well. We’ll definitely be back.

Good south Indian cuisine for lunch (9/24) in RI.

The ambience looks good and there are plenty of parking places.

Our orders are
Gobi 65 and panner Tikka in veg .
Chilli chicken and chicken 555 in NV

Chilli chicken was topnotch. It's well blended spicy and saucy . The flavour and texture was too good. Overall I would recommend spicy lovers as this is a must try dish .

If you're veggie gobi 65 served hot and it was too good . Perfect for an rainy day. It was crispy and well seasoned with pepper and lemon as a side.

Chicken 555 was creamy and good.

Panner Tikka looks amazing, if you're a smokey lover it will have that flavour.

All the appetizers were good..

Main course we ordered spl chicken briyani and goat briyani. Both had a very good quantity and tasted well.

Mango lassi and rosemilk were refreshing.

We enjoyed the food and service, so we are definitely coming back again.

Just had the most amazing, fun, and delicious authentic Indian food after so long! I have been through many Indian restaurants in my life and this is the first restaurant to actually resemble food from India, the spices and flavors are perfectly curated in each dish I tried and their menu is mouthwatering I just wanted to try every dish! I can’t wait to go back and get a taste of India again!!

An absolute must try place. The best Indian food Ive had in RI and Ive pretty much been to them all. Currently living in NJ and I usually don't think RI can match the Indian food but this is right up there with the best of them. The stuffed mirchi is a blast of flavor for any spice lover. The food is fresh, hot, with great flavor and appropriately priced - sometimes you feel cheated an Indian places for their portions but I'll happily return here. Owner stopped by to talk to us for a bit, very pleasant conversation. Hoping for the best for this place as we've seen a ton of restaurants come and go at this location!

I’m glad we tried this restaurant today for dinner. It is authentic Indian food. The chicken and lamb dishes we ordered were delicious. The garlic Naan bread was very good.
