Horrible, smelly pizza and pizzeria with tables that should be sanitized. I really hated this pizzeria and do not plan to return anytime soon.

Place is clean and AC blasting on a hot summer day. Staff was nice and friendly and the slice I had was delicious. I’m so particular about my tomato sauce and the one they put on their pizza is perfect. Had a meat lovers slice and it was perfect.

BEWARE!! The cashier (with glasses) is a middle aged, angry, confrontational man who lacks hospitality & decency!! I am writing another review to follow up on my most recent (posted today) to let everyone know that the cashier read my review while I was still in the pizzeria & decided it was appropriate to approach me aggressively about it. He came up to my table while the pizzeria was busy with customers & slammed his hands on the unoccupied chair in front of me & shouted "Don't come back if you think the food is so bad!" -- To which I replied, "I won't be back because of your terrible customer service. The food being mediocre is just an addition." -- He replied with, "That review was ridiculous. Don't come back". -- I said, "Believe me, I won't!" -- But, the fact that this guy is so unwell to be comfortable enough to approach a customer who paid but had a disheartening experience and decided to voice their opinion on the proper outlets is insane to me. The owner of Xeno's should really consider hiring someone else who has been trained thoroughly in how to provide good Customer Service. As a customer, I am entitled to voice and share my opinion. & his reaction was uncalled for because I did not cause a scene or slam things around like he did. I wrote my review, ate my pizza quietly and planned to never go back. I thought he was going to assault me the way he ran up on me. It was scary and insane. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!

Chivalry & good customer service is dead here at Xeno’s!!! The food here isn’t even good enough for the staff to be miserable as well. When I told the cashier (middle aged man with glasses) that I was planning to dine in, he said ok, then forgot immediately and asked again. To which I replied, “dining in”. Typically when you dine in anywhere, someone brings your order to your table. Not here at Xeno’s! Chivalry and good customer service is dead. The cashier stood at the register waving my plate of pizza at me signaling for me to get up from the seat that was literally 3 steps away from him. Honestly, he is always rude & has an attitude so I typically avoid Xeno’s entirely because of him and the mediocre pizza. But this interaction has officially put the stamp on it that I will not be returning. Cassiano’s is right down the block and the staff there is wonderful, polite, and will bring your order to you if you are dining in and already sitting. It’s really the little things. ((The photo shows just how close the register is to the table I was sitting at. The cashier could’ve simply taken a couple steps to at least try to provide decent service.))

Great pizza, tried both pie and thin crust, fresh, hot and very tasty. Have different deals on different days. Went back twice as pizza was so good. Enjoyed the good boy slice.

good crust, maybe needed a tad more cheese, pepporoni was good. Wish this was $2 slice place but it is $5+ which is not unheard, but it was a good slice.

I have to admit, the pizza at Xeno’s is genuinely good. The crust was perfectly crispy, the toppings were fresh, and the overall flavor was excellent. If you're a pizza fan looking for quality ingredients you won't be disappointed in the product itself.
However, that's where the positives largely end. Unfortunately, the price point is simply too high for what you get.
Adding to the disappointment was the lackluster service. Despite the restaurant being virtually empty on a Sunday evening, our server seemed disinterested and slow. There was no sense of warmth or attentiveness, and we felt more like an inconvenience than valued customers.

Had a meatball sub. Flavor was there, but no sauce, so the meatballs kept falling out and rolling off the table onto the floor. Less of a sandwich and more of a game of “catch the runaway meatball.” Was also lukewarm. Probably reheated or nuked by someone with commitment issues. Service was really nice, however. Very friendly. But not for me. Left hungry and parched.

I got 4 slices of meat lovers to go. Fast service, pizza crust was nice and crispy with plenty of meat. Definitely worth the visit… 7.5 everybody knows the rules..

Top pizzeria on the east side. I’m a native New Yorker visiting New York and my hotel recommended this mom and Pop pizza place on E. 52nd St. near third Avenue. The pizza was delicious with fresh ingredients at a reasonable cost. The portion size was really large too so we had leftovers. Staff was excellent and service very fast. Don’t miss it!

Decent slice shop in the area. Stopped by after work this week and they have a good selection - went with a cheese slice and pepperoni. Good balance of toppings and very thin though do wish it had been a bit crispier. Overall, not bad for the neighborhood.

Solid pizza for the area. Fan of how tax is included in prices. Cheese was $4.25 and vodka Sicilian was 5.30 (Sept 2024).

$0.50 cent garlic knots were great too.

We got a whole pie, it was a hassle to get the it half pepperoni and half chicken with basil. The location is great, small shops but huge glass window to people watch while you eat. Simple fast and decent quality of food with generous sized slices.

This place is 2 minutes away from my workplace, went there for lunch, surprisingly it wasn’t as busy, went there around noon on a Thursday. I got their bugs bunny slice (mushroom, tomato, onion with balsamic glaze) and their lady margarita slice with a coke and garlic knots. Spent like $17 in total. The bugs bunny slice was absolutely amazing! Would def go there again.

Midtown Pizza crawl 2024

Really, really good regular slice. Crispy, good sauce and right amount of cheese. Plenty of tables to dine in. Solid choice if you are in the area

By-the-slice pizza place that makes their cheese fresh daily, a house sauce, and couple days fermented dough. The sauce was average for a NY slice and the cheese was better. The best was the dough and crispy crust. I'd call it better than Joe's but that's not a high bar in my opinion. Location is in Midtown East so it was kinda pricey ($4.50 for a cheese slice). Great snack nonetheless.

I went into this pizza place a few weeks ago and was short changed by the man behind the till. I thought it was a genuine error. On Monday I returned and the same guy shortchanged me again by 50 cents. This cannot be a coincidence. No apology from the staff member about this. He just handed me the 50 cents without a word.
Ignorant staff and shortchanging customers is totally unacceptable.

Great fast pizza and good garlic twists. We’re helpful also to quick NY tourists. Worth the 1 hour we spent in New York City.

Several slices ready to go or you can order a whole pie. They heat them up when you order so they are piping hot. Tried several kinds, all were great.
