I see my role as a physician as that of a guide. I want to educate my patients so they can live the healthiest and most prosperous lives possible. That starts with listening to my patients and connecting and continues when I work to give them a better understanding of their health and of ways to prevent and manage disease. I became a doctor because I wanted to alleviate suffering, and empowering people to understand and take charge of their well-being is a big part of that. Family medicine allows me to see patients from birth all the way through the life span. That fosters unique connections. Sports medicine presents more opportunities to encourage continued physical fitness and healthy ways. It also allows for problem-solving and adaptation on a case-by-case basis, which keeps me on my toes and ensures my patients get just the care they need. My beautiful wife and I have twin boys who keep us running! Together, we love enjoying cooking vegetarian and vegan cuisines. We also love traveling and sightseeing together. On my own, I love drawing, gardening and landscaping, playing and watching sports, all of which keep me busy.
