I have been coming here for years - the Sunday roast is really amazing and to be honest it has gotten better (in particular the gravy, thicker with deeper flavour). The beef is really good quality and the Yorkshire puds are delish. Staff are friendly and kind (however when I doggy bagged my dessert I wish they had given me a proper container instead of pouring it into some aluminium foil which wasn’t ideal but whatever - no biggie). Overall definitely worth stopping by. P.s. the bread and butter starter is worth the calories, go for it.
Best roast I’ve been to in London. I’d highly recommend the lamb shoulder (to share for 2) it was delicious, flavourful and plenty. Don’t get me started on the enormous Yorkshire pudding, it was love at first sight. There’s a great buzzy and warm atmosphere yet you’re still able to get a decent service and the attention of waiters when needed. I’m already planning a return trip 🤩
This place is amazing!! Went for date night and the rump was absolutely delicious!! Im Argentinian so I know my meat, and this was cooked perfectly! Theo was also very kind and attentive, gave wonderful hospitality.
Smokehouse & Co BBQ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 9/10. Amazing BBQ spot in Vaughan. We loved everything!! Highly. #texasbbq #bbq #toronto #vaughan
Me and friend, went here Friday, and I must say it was amazing, it's the first time iv been there but it's one of the best places iv eaten this year. Good atmosphere very friendly stuff. Evrything I tryed was great, the sandwich was good to, but I think it needs a bit more flavour but was good. At first you mite think not enough food for the price but believe me it was more than enough food and very filling. Iv let my friend know about this place so expect atleast 200 more new customer.

For a place that has had a long-standing reputation for having a great Sunday roast, Smokehouse still continues to be the same as always. However, the one thing that has put things into perspective as to whether or not I’ll ever come back again is the bad service. Overall, things seemed chaotic and even taking our initial drink and food order took half an hour from the moment that we sat down. Apparently, we had been sat down in a table for 6 when we had a reservation for 3 people. This meant that the staff were waiting for “the rest of our party to arrive”? Someone could have simply looked at our table setting and realised that the table had been set for three people from the start! Either way, I’d like to point out that most places ask for your drink order within minutes of being sat whilst you take time to decide what you wish to eat. Not here it seems. In addition, what really threw me off guard was that we finished our first drinks before our Sunday roast dinner arrived (which took ages) and no one ever came to ask if we wanted more drinks. We pretty much had to flag down a staff member whenever we ran out of water or wanted a glass of wine with our dinner. To add more insult, as we finished our food or drink, not a single member of staff came to remove the empty plates and glasses from our table — the used dining and glassware just started to accumulate.
Overall the general observation after not having been to Smokehouse for two years is that the quality of the food is great but the service is bad given the price point of the pub. I believe front of house can improve by better communicating with the waiters as to who will be in charge of which table. Our experience is that no one seemed accountable for a designated area of tables at the pub. This recent experience has put us off from dining here again. We live locally and I can assure you that there are plenty of good pubs around with better service.

We had a fantastic dining experience at Smokehouse. We tried the beef roast, porchetta and veggie wellington – and all of them were absolutely delicious! The service was excellent, and our waiter, Alicia, was attentive, friendly, and so sweet, which made the experience even better. Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to!
Must order brisket, banana pudding. Wings really nice, ribs not as tender as I preferred. Nice sauce selection, don’t remember all the names, but the sweet and spicy combo was nice. Might have to wait a little if there’s large order going on.
Wanted to try corn bread, alas, it was sold out.

Their beef was so nice and tender. Juicy and tasty. The best roast in London so far. Their dessert was very nice, too. Staff members are all nice and friendly. The atmosphere was great. They have both indoor and outdoor tables and all nicely set up with proper fabric napkins.
Great food, the brisket and ribs were amazing and they gave us Mexican style roasted corn which was great, the fries were cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. Will definitely be going again.
A must visit for bbq lovers in Vaughan! We had the platter for 2 with ribs, brisket, pulled pork, chicken wings, coleslaw, mac n cheese, and corn bread. Delicious and a huge portion for the price!
We didn’t think it could get any better and then the banana pudding arrived…. I’m not kidding when I say this was one of the best desserts I’ve ever had! An absolute must!

Amazing roast! We had the beef and the pork and they were both incredible. The sticky toffee pudding is one of the best I have ever had, the caramel sauce was incredible! And the pear and rhubarb crumble was absolutely amazing!
This place is tucked away a little so you would rarely see it…however, The staff were amazing here, the prices reasonable and to top it off the food was amazingly good.
I will say that the pulled pork was probably the best I had - very flavourful and not sweet like the closest competitor around here - the cornbread was excellent (would be better with gravy), it had like Cardamum and other spices on it and was definitely one of the better tasting cornbreads I’ve had (edges were crispy, inside soft and fluffy)
Here is the kicker though the Nashville hot chicken is by and far the best I’ve had in the GTA - warning it is hot hot - and the spice builds up on the tongue - but it was too late I ate too much before I found out (because it tasted so good) - so, if your a fan of good spice just get this trust me you won’t be disappointed at all…at this point I have to go and try everything else they have

Came to try this hidden little spot and left pleasantly surprised. Got the Feast Platter for 2.
Meats: The ribs were juicy and tender. The brisket was wonderfully smoked with a beautiful bark. Very tender and full of flavour. The pulled pork was tangy and provided great balance to the other meats. The dry rub wings were amazing. Nice crispy skin but juicy on every bite.
Everything was presented nicely compared to other BBQ spots.
Sides: The potato salad and slaw were good but nothing special. Wanted to try the mac&cheese but that's only available on certain days.
Dessert: The Banana Pudding was the biggest surprise. I ordered it just to get something sweet to wash down the fatty meal. I'm not the biggest fan of bananas or pudding so I wasn't expecting much. This was the most delicious pudding I've ever had. It had a buttery quality to it, almost like a butter cookie/cake. It was smooth and creamy but not too thick. It was perfectly sweet but not too sweet. It had some crushed cookies/biscuit in it and added some texture and crunch.
The only reason the food didn't receive 5 stars is because it's not Franklin's BBQ in Texas. But overall it is a 5 star experience for a BBQ joint in the GTA.
Service: Forgot to get a name but it seems like it may have been the manager/owner serving us. He paid attention and genuinely wanted to know how the food/experience was. He noticed when we dropped a spoon and brought one over without us asking. Those little genuine things are what matters the most.
