Whamburg

I’ve been coming to Whamburg long before Whamburg was a place. This was mare nostrum before Whamburg and I came daily. I love that the fridges still carry Mare Nostrum items but it’s been a disappointment lately when the last 3 salads have been rotten or slimey. The lettuce will be brown and the cucumber is starting to mold. I’ve gone back in and they’ve attempted to replace it but when you open the others up they’re also going bad. I wish there was more quality control.

As for the Whamburg side of things… their fries are great. The ranch is phenomenal and the chicken fingers are chefs kiss!

Very disappointed. I love wham but this was the 1st time i couldnt eat my food..the fries were cold and hard and the burger was swimming in sauce. I understand it was close to closing but the food is usually amazing.

The fries were very crispy and we loved our burgers!

I eat fairly regularly at Whamburg on California (uwindsor location). Generally, once a week. If it’s on Wednesday’s, they have a great deal, Wham Wednesday. A smash burger combo with fries and a drink is $10.99, cheaper than a combo at McDonald’s. The owner, Adam, is very nice, and this has been his location since its previous incarnation as Mare Nostrum, a Middle Eastern restaurant. But, I digress. The only downfalls about Whamburg are 1) it can be VERY crowded during the school year, 2) they have the audacity to have a “tip option” for a restaurant where you place the order yourself at a self-service kiosk, and pick up you own food when your number is called - you throw your own garbage out too, and clean off your own table. That’s really tacky. I would highly suggest removing that. Other than that, good overall.

Nice atmosphere, very clean, the waitress was very patient willing to answer all my questions, the food quality was great! Will be back soon!

Incredible experience, food, and prices.

Spent less than all my recent restaurant trips, and got such a nice chicken burger combo, very filling. The chicken is crispy on the outside and very juicy. The sauces are perfect. The double fried fries are the best fries you've ever had. The staff is friendly the restaurant is clean, they make it super easy to support local. Thanks for the great food!

If you're looking for a great spot to grab a bite, Whamburg is definitely worth checking out! The food is top-notch—flavorful, fresh, and perfectly cooked every time. The staff really make the experience even better, with their friendly and attentive service. It's a place that knows how to deliver both in taste and atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend stopping in for a wham. Definitely my new favorite place to get a quick bite. I appreciate all the fresh ingredients- best burgers in the city!

I am still such a fan after 7 months. Order often on Skip and still everytime its hot and fresh and delicious. I decided to try the hot chicken sandwich for a change, and it's definitely my new favourite!
I've never had a bad experience ordering from Wham. Keep up the good work!

Both were very delicious burgers with the standard toppings (you can order how you like it). The buns are so soft and go perfectly with the burgers.

We stopped by because their instagram said kids eat free for lunch on the weekend. The kids loved it, we loved it and the staff was so friendly! I highly recommend the chicken burger and the milkshakes mmm! All 4 of us are for $45 and left full!

Absolutely love this place! I love that their patties are well seasoned and juicy and the customer service is phenomenal and this was literally my favourite place to order all throughout the pandemic and I’m just glad that services are even better in person.

I always have an excellent experience at this Whamburg location! The staff are consistently attentive, kind, and great at their jobs, it’s always a treat to dine here. Delicious! Costly yes but worth every penny. The fries are amazing! Burger perfectly crunchy where it should be. So good.

Food is really good, especially the fries with the wham sauce, literal chefs kiss. 👨‍🍳💋Service is always amazing, the workers are always very kind. And the atmosphere is really great too, they always have the latest hits on which makes the place no only somewhere to go food but also a chill place to just hangout. 🎶🍔

Whamburg is a true gem! The food is fresh, delicious, and exactly what you want from a classic burger joint. What made our visit even better was the amazing service from Catie—she was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Her positive attitude really made the experience memorable. Awesome burgers and the Brown Butter Chocolate Chip cookies are to die for!! The staff are welcoming, efficient, and have a great rapport with customers—especially Catie, she’s so sweet!! Restaurant and restrooms are super clean… Adam, the owner, is never without a smile and so kind to everyone…love this place!!

The food here is so good. You really guaranteed the same great burger and fries every time. It shows how disciplined they are when preparing your order. The place is very clean and the service is always great. The staff is always so friendly.

Somewhere that I've known about for a while whilst still being a hidden gem somehow, prolly the best chicken I've had in a long time and some solid fries too. Service was good and fast, and all the other meals I've tried have been pretty good too. Pricing is average but for the quality that's honestly pretty good too, solid place to eat and always a good recommendation.

The Best Hamburger Joint in yqg!

From the moment you walk in, you can tell that cleanliness and quality are top priorities here. The restaurant is spotless! I got a glimpse of the kitchen, and it’s immaculate. The staff is always friendly and welcoming.

The burgers themselves are simply delicious. They’re smash burgers, which might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but they’re perfectly seasoned, and you don’t feel overly heavy after eating them, unlike some other fast food places. If you’re a fan of homemade garlic sauce, definitely try theirs with your fries!

On top of all that, the customer service is excellent. The staff goes out of their way to ensure you have a great experience, whether it’s your first visit or your hundredth. They truly value their customers, and it shows.

I've had lunch here with friends a few times now and can confirm that Whamburg is a wonderful burger place and is at the top of my list for the Windsor area in general.

The burger selection is just varied enough to try some new things but just simple enough that I don't feel like I have choice paralysis. The burgers themselves are smash style, super thin, crispy edges and delicious. The produce was fresh and crisp and my favourite part, the buns are a super soft potato style bun that I haven't experienced anywhere else locally.

Oh the fries are double fried, always super hot and crispy and the dipping sauce is delicious (it's a mayo/aioili based one).

The restaurant itself is beautiful and colourful, clean and well maintained.

The customer service I've experienced here has been wonderful as well, very quick and with a smile.

Had an awesome first experience at Whamburg on Walker Road. We were impressed with how immaculately clean this location was. The Wham Burg was awesome! So fresh and flavourful. The fries were very crispy, tasty and accompanied by their special dipping sauce. Would highly recommend Whamburg on Walker Road. We will definitely be back soon!!!!

McDonald's is just as expensive these days, so why not enjoy quality?

I never feel disgusting after eating here, even when I indulge in the cravy fries. The lemonade and smash burger are my go-to, but I tried the chicken burger a few weeks ago and it was literally the best chicken burger I've ever had.

Try it. Don't eat garbage anymore!
