TEN Sushi + Cocktail Bar

My wife and I came to Ten Sushi in Irvine with another couple for a double date. We are all big sushi fans and wanted to try something new, and this spot looked like a great choice. The vibe is a little more on the fancy side but still really comfortable.

We started with the Chili Garlic Edamame, Miso Soup, Cucumber Salad, and Gyoza. The Gyoza was crunchy and full of flavor with a good soy ponzu sauce. The Cucumber Salad had that nice vinegar and pickle taste, small portion but really refreshing. The Miso Soup had a lot of green onions, seaweed, and big chunks of tofu which was nice to see and added good flavor. My favorite appetizer was the Chili Garlic Edamame because it had the perfect mix of spice and garlic and was great for sharing.

For rolls we ordered the Forbidden, Spicy Domo, Keoni, Ten Tation, Lion King, and the Seared Salmon Lime but we switched the salmon for tuna. Every roll had great flavor and texture. The Lion King was probably the table favorite with the rock shrimp on top and the sauce that came with it. My personal favorite was the Spicy Domo because of the crunch from the tempura flakes and the little tang from the sauce. The Ten Tation Roll was also really good with the crispy shrimp tempura and the sauce pairing nicely with the tuna and salmon. Our server Diane was super kind and attentive the whole night and made sure everything came out right, even accommodating our request to switch the fish.

Overall, Ten Sushi was a great! Pricing is high for sure. The food was good, the service was awesome, and the atmosphere made it a really nice spot for a date night and some Halloween stuff too. . A little more upscale and more expensive for kind of above average sushi but it’s better than your everyday sushi place but I’d worth trying out!

My partner and I have dined here a few times and this last time is what prompted my review. Our server, Christine had great energy and was pleasant to chat with. The all the food is good. The sushi pieces are the perfect bite size. We love the variety of the menu. The only issue we have run into twice now is ordering a cocktail with tonic ends up being club soda. Not sure why there is confusion there. Either way it has been a simple fix. We look forward to returning and hope Christine will be our server again.

I was in need of a local sushi spot and this place was just perfect! The ambiance was soothing, the food was delicious (especially the toro taku) but honestly what made this spot stand out the most was the bar manager Antonette. Super helpful, tons of liquor knowledge and made the best Negroni I ever had. I would come back because it was very good but Antonette is the Reason I’ll make sure to choose this spot over another.

Came here for a belated birthday dinner and the sushi was very fresh. It was an early dinner and we weren't too hungry, but everything we got was delicious. Giving it a 4 star rating because the employees' vibe were a bit off - they weren't friendly or accommodating.

My girlfriend and I wanted to try a new place so we ended up here at Ten. The ambiance was chill. We ordered a few of the specialty cocktails and they were on point!
We also ordered a few apps, sashimi, a roll and split main course. Overall food presentation was nice. The even accommodated no spice or low spice so we could flavor our meal
We really enjoyed our visit and may look to return in a few months.

Ten Sushi is a beautiful restaurant that is thoughtfully decorated. They have a Sakura tree in the entrance and the lighting gives it a modern vibe.

The food was good, but nothing really wowed me. We tried many dishes and for the price point I expected more. Also a majority of their rolls have Spicy Tuna in them. I have nothing against Spicy Tuna, but they just kind of overuse it.

Our server, an Asian girl with red hair, was overly pushy with upselling. I understand trying to increase sales, but the way she was doing it rubbed me the wrong way. Like when we ordered apps, she claimed that the most expensive app "paired well" with what we had ordered, which had no reasoning. Then when I ordered 4 dishes for our entrees, she turned to my friend and asked what they wanted like it wasnt obvious I just ordered for the table.

Service aside, the food was okay, but I wouldnt return because of how many other amazing Asian Fusion places are in the area.

Fantastic place to come for dinner whether it's a date or meeting! The food is fantastic, menu has a good range of items and the ambiance is very pleasing

Came here last minute with a big group and had a great experience. The service was amazing and there was a good selection of dishes even for non-seafood eaters. Though there no pictures of the sushi it was awesome!
The shaken beef with noodles was delicious and not too sweet and the edamame was very very good.

Came here for my friends birthday and had a blast.
We had mocktails the nojito was delicious. Appetizers were pretty good , I think I could have done with out the nachos they were good but just a little difficult to eat. If you have a big mouth you’ve got no problem but if you’re a dainty little lady with a dainty little lady mouth it’s like 3 bites. Maybe 1.5 of the bites were perfect the other 1.5 broken falling apart chip.
I don’t even know the rolls we got but they were absolutely delicious.
The strawberry mochi was a nice little birthday treat. Loved the staff and environment

Yesterday was our first time visiting this beautiful establishment. The manager Anai made us feel so welcome and made our experience so delightful. The orange chicken and honey walnut shrimp was amazing along with the drinks being strong and refreshing. We will definitely be back soon!

This evening, I had the pleasure of revisiting one of my favorite sushi restaurants. While the food is consistently excellent, what truly sets this place apart is the exceptional service. The staff’s warm and attentive demeanor keeps me coming back, time and time again.

Today, our server, Hailey, left a particularly lasting impression. Her gracious and thoughtful service was not only memorable but also a testament to her strong sense of responsibility and positive attitude toward her work. Hailey embodies the kind of professionalism and dedication that elevates Ten Sushi into a truly outstanding dining establishment.

Thanks to her remarkable service, I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

The food was pretty good. The Mongolian beef was very sweet and I think I was in the wrong mood. Our sushi roll was okay. You could tell the ingredients were fresh just think I picked the wrong roll for what I was craving.

Our server was great and the storefront was nice and clean. I'll need to go back and try again.

Went on a first date here recently and was very satisfied with the experience! I was pretty shocked but we were able to get the reservation only a day or two before, for a Friday or Saturday night!

The portions for the starters, signature rolls, and entrees were all fairly generous. It is certainly an upscale/$$$ sushi restaurant, but I still felt it would have been sizable portions for a group ordering family style.

Everything tasted delicious! This was a few weeks ago but the most memorable dishes for me were the shrimp tempura starter dish, and the black & yellow signature roll.

Ambiance was nice, perfect for a date. And the server was lovely. Food came out in good timing and everything else was great!

Oh, and don't forget you have to get your parking validated at the hostess stand to park for free in the parking structure at this location!

The food was amazing, our waitress was super friendly and suggested the lychee rose martinis which were delicious. We atmosphere was super cute and picturesque too. Would definitely visit again whenever I’m back in Cali.

Great vibe, good food and professional service. Lots of Sake to choose from, a large menu and most of the food is good. Hard to go wrong.

My experience with them today was bad, I ordered chicken with rice and shrimp and paid the bill with a $10 tip and took the food and left, unfortunately when I got home I was surprised that there was no rice, and this really bothered me because they forgot to put the rice, even though I confirmed the type of rice to the employee twice, and I will always come back to the restaurant because their food is delicious and amazing to me, this is not my first experience in the restaurant but it is my first experience taking food home. I hope they take the matter seriously and pay attention to these matters and improve them, thank you and accept my apology for writing for a long time

Perfect for hanging out with friends, great staff with interesting food options, sushi was so fresh and delicious.
