Colibri Tattoo and Piercing (Downtown Montreal)

I had my bridge piercing done here and it turned out amazing. I know bridges can be tricky since they are so anatomy dependent, but Serenity (@love.pokess on IG) did such a great job and made me feel completely comfortable. I also got my nose piercing here and hoops for my snake bites, and each experience has been just as professional and friendly. The shop is super clean, the staff are welcoming, and I would recommend them to anyone looking for piercings done right.

Very welcoming place once you walk in. We came for the $25 Tuesday special and it was legit lol we didn’t wait to long, very acceptable for the number of clients they had that morning. The receptionist was so kind to answer all my questions and the agreement forms are simple dimple. Thank you Colibri, I will definitely be back.

Went here today for a walk-in appointment on my last day in Montreal. The staff were all lovely, and they fit me in very quick. I had a little request for a cosmo flower and Kelian fulfilled that request beautifully! It was awesome to get exactly what I wanted in such a short time frame (we had a train to catch, haha). Kelian had a lovely energy and the whole experience was wonderful. The lady at the front desk was also very sweet. Thank you very much!

Back in February 2025, I got a tattoo from Hoang. His work looked solid on Instagram w some impressive pieces. I came with a premade design which he said he could do, but it quickly became clear he didn’t put much effort into it. He basically copy-pasted the design onto my arm without fixing the flawed lines or putting effort into any shading or adjustments. The colouring was also incomplete in some spots.

The whole session lasted around 3 hours and he barely said a single word the entire time. The final result looked so rushed and careless that I ended up having to get it fixed a few months later.

I went to Gabriel at AngerInk and he did an amazing job. He took the time to ask about my preferences, added proper shading, and genuinely cared about the end result. He made it look good.

Hoang showed a great lack of professionalism. Not only he didn't seem to care about putting effort into the tattoo, but when I reached out to him for a retouch, I was just dismissively told he was currently out of the country—no offer to fix it later or accountability. I ended up having to pay full price again to have it redone by another artist.

Anyway, I had a disappointing experience with Hoang. My experience was frustrating and disappointing. Would not recommend him.

Colibrí Tattoo Studio is amazing. The service was excellent from the very beginning. Everyone on the team is super friendly and makes you feel comfortable throughout the entire process. The tattoo artists are very professional, clearly passionate about their work and highly experienced. I loved how they paid attention to every detail of my design, and the hygiene standards at the studio are impeccable. 100% recommended! I’ll definitely be coming back for my next tattoo.

I had a great experience!! I went on the wednesday for the 25% I had kayla and she was just great !!! The only thing is if you are going on a wednesday expect the wait to be long :) that’s my only comment ! Would definitely come again.

I came for the $25 Tuesday piercing deal. I only waited for around an hour and got my septum pierced with Carolyn. She placed a small horseshoe, and then redid it with a larger horseshoe that fit just right. She sanitized everything well and was very receptive and kind! The staff here are great!

Beautiful, clean, inclusive, and amazing tattoo/piercing shop! All staff members were lovely. We were visiting from out of town and would highly recommend to anyone in the area. Great for walk-ins or appointments.

They made my visit to Montreal so welcoming and did my custom piece with great consideration and efficiency. I was able to move the stencil to my liking and have insight on the size as well.
The shop is spacious, and it a wonderful spot to get your work done!

My little sister and I had a very pleasant experience at Colibri Piercing! She had her two first lobes pierced with no problems done by a very warm employee. For myself, i already have 7 piercings so i only needed a change for my tragus. The whole staff was very welcoming, patient and proactive while showing us the verity of jewellery and the friendly pricing!

An amazing place. Ryan took care of my session ; he was very professional and explained every step carefully. I only have one other piercing that I got at an other place & it’s also "invasive" one but my experience with Ryan was out-stand. I’m so glad I picked this place ☀️

Went on a Tuesday for piercing special, there was a lot of people I arrived around 11 and got done by 12. They also gave an estimate for the waiting for people arriving after 11:15 so they can go about their day and come back. It’s really worth it when you come early. It’s also a bilingual and inclusive place.
