One tip for buyers!: this food is more nutrient-dense than most brands. Don’t overfeed your dogs - less is more with this high-quality food!

We have been very happy with the quality of 4Strong Paws; our Golden Retriever has been eating the chicken and salmon with grains for 3 1/2 years. No problems or issues Retrievers sometimes face with diet. Our vet reviewed the ingredients and was pleased. It is very nutrient dense, so if your dog is less active you may need to dial back the serving slightly.
It is a CANADIAN company using Canada-sourced ingredients; that matters a lot to me these days.
The delivery is an excellent feature—so fast!
I have also been impressed by the quick, personal response from the CEO I received when I contacted the company with a question!

Have been purchasing from 4StrongPaws for about 12 years. It has been the only food I have fed my Standard Poodle since we brought her home from the breeder at 10 weeks old. The service is excellent, and free delivery to my house is the next day, and I live in Northern Ontario. My dog has never had any health issues and always a clean bill of health yearly from vet. Poodles are highly sensitive digestive systems and we have never had any problems on this high quality food!

Have been ordering there puppy chow dog food for my bernese Mountain Dog puppy (breeder recommend). She seems to love it, and if pup enjoys it I'm happy 😊.

I love this place . This is the food our puppy started on from the breeder and we have continued on as he’s grown and now for our other dog as well . I love that I get grain free and it’s Canadian made by a small business. Free home delivery and it’s quick . I love the extra stuff that comes along , like the Christmas advent calendar’s!!!

Grabbed a bag of new food and found lots of mold in the bag. Was told there’s nothing I can do because this bag was from the Breeder, I wanted to keep the new dogs on the same food but after this customer service I’ve received I’ll gladly find another company to order my dogs food from…. Nice response as well below I had sent another email and left a voicemail and no response from you guys but you’re sure to comment on the review that’s funny! 4 Strong Paws only cares about their bottom line. They do not care about your pets. They sell food that will make your animal sick, and they do nothing about it. They don't even ask for the product batch numbers to investigate.

My pup ate nothing else but this food (no treats, no other food, only filtered water) for 10 weeks straight, with constant loose stools.
AS SOON as I switched food, he had no more issues. No more loose stools, no more trying to bury the food.

Clearly a food issue. The owners refuse to take accountability. They must be politicians in their spare time.

Pathetic. Shop elsewhere.

Our breeder recommended 4 Strong Paws and we have continued to use their products for the last two years. We love their service, happy it is local, and our dog loves their food.

I will start by saying I typically have had a good experience with Strong Paws. I have mad 4 purchases through them over the past few months, and they have always been delivered correctly and on time.

My recent order of puppy food was misplaced and instead I received a bag of 'Life Stages' food. They provided me with two options.

1. They would send me a return label, and I would have to return the large bag of food. Afterwards I would place the correct order of puppy food as a replacement.

2. I keep the 'Life Therapies' bag for when my 6-month old puppy is old enough to eat it. And I order a new bag of puppy food with a very ungenerous discount of 5$ off.

I needed my food sooner than later. The return process was a hassle, costly and would take longer to receive my puppy food. I had no choice but to purchase a new bag basically at full price.

The CEO has since replied to the post and reached out to me via email. He reviewed the situation and offered 50% off my next purchase. I revised my stars and gave them a 4/5 because in the end they re-assessed my situation and provided me with a better solution following their error. I also have had great experiences prior to this one-off situation.

Our breeder had recommended 4 Strong Paws and we are so happy that they did! Their pups were started on this brand and we have continued with our Aussiedoodle for the last 3 years.
He loves the kibble and healthy treats that are available online.
5 Stars for high quality, easy online ordering, fast delivery and fair price! To top it off, they're a Canadian company. Give them a try, you wont be disappointed! :)
