Marwan Abdulaal, M.D. is a member of the vitreoretinal service at Cincinnati Eye Institute (CEI). He is board-certified in ophthalmology. Dr. Abdulaal, did two residencies in ophthalmology. The first was at the American University of Beirut, Lebanon, and the second was at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio. He completed fellowship training in medical retina at Harvard Medical School and surgical retina at UT Southwestern, Dallas, Texas. He has a strong interest in retina, particularly diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, vascular diseases of the retina, and complex retinal detachment repair.
