Dr. Mark G. Murphy founded Thunder Basin Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in 1997 and has been proudly serving the communities of Northeastern and Central Wyoming for over 20 years. He received his medical degree from Brown University School of Medicine where he graduated with honors. Dr. Murphy did his internship at Letterman Army Hospital and completed his residency training in orthopaedic surgery at Stanford University Medical Center. He did a dual fellowship in total joint replacement and sports medicine at the Kerlan Jobe Institute in Los Angeles. Dr. Murphy is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons as well as a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
