man... I think you guys are too greedy.
I had a great shopping experience at that store, extremely functional feature and reliable product. Have been used it for 5 years, still run like new.
I had a great shopping experience at that store, extremely functional feature and reliable product. Have been used it for 5 years, still run like new.
My friend and I were looking to upgrade our range hoods and saw the ad put out in Vancouver Sun by the Pacific Range Hood (Canada) Richmond shop on the Friday before the Father's Day weekend. When we called on Friday we were told the ad was a mistake but they would do us a favour by honouring the "gift of over $200" deal and they would also give us a better deal when we come to the shop since each of us is buying one.
But when we got to the shop on Saturday, they tried to sell my friend a used floor model (with scratches and rust inside)claiming they don't have the colour and size she was looking for. There were many conflicting information on available colours for the different models. Because the person we spoke to on the phone was not around so there was no special deal for buying two although they would honour the ad and they also said if we pay cash or debit card we can get 5% off. We were told we can come back on Sunday to see her. When we went back on Sunday we found there was no deals and they would not even offer us the 5% off.
I find this kind of low level appalling sales tactics certainly does not fit the image of a company which claims to have a successful presence in Canada. It does not offer us the confidence of a company that we can trust in their products and services. We worried that if we purchased it with the ad that came with "free installation", there may also be many unexpected hassles for more money when they perform the "free" installation.
