A shop full of cuteness and deliciousness — definitely a must-visit!
I absolutely love the cozy and cute atmosphere inside. The donuts are super fluffy, not too sweet, and sooo tasty♡
I’ll definitely come back to try more flavors🍩

Scratches the itch for old school donuts sooo well. The owners are also so lovely
Have tried almost all their flavours at this point at definitely the sour cream, chocolate (double but also omg the coconut), and cherry stick are standouts.
I will say their crueller is unfortunately a miss to me- far too eggy and lacks a good crust of sugar that gives a crueller its iconic texture

Customer service was great, food tastes amazing. Overall an incredible vibe and such a nice time. Highly recommend if you want to fight with your friend for coffee in the morning!! 🩷🩷😁😁😁
I had a great experience at this location. I ordered the Spanish Coffee and it was delicious. Smoothe coffee. Super cute ambiance. Not too loud, my friend and I were able to talk without yelling. Greta place to go and study. The food is amazing. I forgot to get a picture but you won’t be disappointed.
First time at this location and we loved it. Great service, good music and lots of additional seating. Already planning our next visit.
Fantastic coffee! I didn't try their food. But the service is great. Small, crowded, front area. But they have tables outside also. Parking fills up quickly.
$6.50 for a 12oz specialty coffee (avg pricing).
Took a star away bc they are CASHLESS! I'm not sure why a business would not accept cash. Very inconvenient!

Great donuts. Amazing apple fritters.
The pesto chicken sandwich was delicious and I really enjoyed the atmosphere.
If you're looking for coffee and espresso drinks done the correct way, this is the place for you!
All the staff and the owner are really nice people. I work at the hotel shop next door and love coming here, it starts my day off right. Such positive vibes.
They have frufru drinks available too, if that's what you're into.

The Acai bowls were really nice. Made a custom one with the matcha base and loved it. Was happy custom option wasn't uncharged.
The unfinished exposed ceiling though needs to be stained or painted, looked really tacky.

Stumbled across this little cafe one day to pick up some drinks and was wonderfully surprised by the amazing atmosphere. Once we got our drinks we knew we had to come here again. This time we stopped by for lunch and cannot be more happy with the experience. The food both looked and tasted incredible. So happy we found this place and will definitely be coming again!!
I was excited to try this place but it wasn’t hitting the mark fully. I got the avocado toast and it was yummy
When I showed up there was no one in line and I had to wait a bit before someone helped me, it was hard to hear them call your name if you were sitting outside, and everything is served to go (at least they didn’t ask me and mine was). I like a place with real plates and cutlery. I don’t want to feel rushed. Also, the chairs outside were rickety.
I will try them again because I love cafes.

Very good coffee drinks however the food is just average. Lots of items on the menu weren't made as they were described on the menu. It would say it was made on sourdough but it was made on a totally different kind of bread, Really changes the Dynamics of what you're ordering. At least 6 items on the menu were not available. Would not return.
Edit: I came back in and felt bad for the bad review. Tried the avo toast. Amazing. Still were out of the cold brew. Baristas were very nice.
Edit: I don’t know if the first time I came in was just a rough month but I come in now all the time. It’s great. The food is delicious as well.

Throwback to the donuts you loved as a child with classic flavours and cake donuts!
Double choc cake donut is very chocolatey (although it may not be if it was only glaze) and little bit of a dense texture. Sour cream cake didn’t quite land for me, didn’t taste like sour cream. Cherry stick is glorious.
Boston cream and Maple cream are excellent. Vanilla pastry cream is exactly like the taste from the 90s and donuts are properly filled!
The apple fritters are delicious. Crispy glazed exterior with good amount of cinnamon and apples and they’re flat so you get that crispness in each bite - and big! :)
I think the glazes need to be more thorough as fritters are only half covered, and cakes donuts are spotty.
Prices are fair - fritter is more expensive but makes sense given the size.
Update Aug 2024:
The apple fritters don’t seem to be consistent and what they were when they opened 6 months ago. :( The last four times I went for them, twice they didn’t have them out yet (9:30am during weekday). Once there was no cinnamon in the dough, barely any apples and hardly glazed. Last Sunday it was smaller, half glazed, no apples and little cinnamon on inside. Quite disappointing.

After travelling from Vancouver Island I had to check out what my friends told me were the best donuts in the area. It did not disappoint. I had my own food critic from ratatouille moment being transported back to childhood road trips to northern Ontario when I had my first bite. I bought a dozen and shared it with family who all agreed that the donuts were great, and reminded them of similar experiences.
The drip coffee pairs well with the donuts. Some standouts include the vanilla dip sprinkle, maple cream and double chocolate. The donuts are glazed well, and were the right blend of dense and airy.
I look forward to my next visit whenever that may be.

I’ve been searching for old-school donuts, there’s nothing better than dunking your donut into a cup of coffee and half your coffee comes back with it. That hasn’t existed for a long time until…Better Days Donuts. The atmosphere, the quality and the service is what you get at Better Days.
They are located at 963 Dovercourt Rd Toronto.
Great place and friendly service.
ENJOY!!!

Nice coffee shop to go to after/before going to the park nearby. Cute little place with both indoor and outdoor (front and back of cafe) seating.
My gripe, hence the 3 stars.
1) no one cleans the tables after it’s been used
2) if there are more than one customer with the same name, plz be specific who the order is for.
3) I felt terrible that I picked up someone’s order, because we had the same name and opened it. The worker I told just handed the order to the right person without asking if they’d prefer a new order. At the same time, the customer could have requested a new one
4) my Spanish latte was too sweet and too much cinnamon
5) my acai bowl was also too sweet tho my kid’s order (grill cheese) was pretty good

Excellent donuts and coffee. The donuts taste fresh. There was no rancid oil flavour. This is one of the rare places that do cake donuts right as they arr crumbly yet still moist. I wish the sour cream icing was a bit tangier. Coffee was amazing.
What a sweet treat along Dovercourt! This retro-inspired, quaint coffee & donut shop was a fun spot to visit for a quick pick-me-up. I grabbed a branded coffee mug too because they were too cute to ignore. The atmosphere is nostalgic & retro, yet clean.. and the place felt cozy, thoughtfully designed and inviting. I left the place smiling and with a box of 6 delicious donuts to share at home (trying not to eat them too fast but the jelly donut was super tasty so far). Everything from the signage to the hand-painted ceiling is a delight. Definitely a welcome neighbourhood staple.
Recently stopped by and I'm so glad I did! We came by on a Friday around noon - 1PM. It wasn't super busy and we were able to sit and enjoy our sweet treat. We had the raspberry filled donut and the French crueller and they were perfect! The raspberry jam was so good! Perfect amount of sweetness, the donut itself was also super soft and fresh. The French crueller was also amazing!! The sweetness level was perfect! Both donuts were around $9, including tip. It is on the pricey side but totally worth it 🗣🗣🗣
This coffee shop has yummy sandwiches, toasts, coffee, tea and smoothies. The atmosphere is relaxing with table, bar and outside seating. There are large windows that lead in natural light. The dog friendly patio is cute. The staff are friendly and the food is fresh. They also offer select baked goods.
Walked in to fun music and smiles. The place is very bright and peaceful. Gorgeous place, plants inside for those who enjoy being around nature. The service has been amazing. They were fast with getting the food ready and delicious. I got the spicy turkey sandwich which tastes refreshing and filling. My husband ordered the life's bitter sweet. Life's bitter sweet was toast with strawberries, banana, honey, and peanut butter. Everything turned out great and a very relaxing, fun place to eat at. Will definitely come back to enjoy again. Thank you for the experience Better Days!
So this is a beautiful cafe and I don’t doubt their coffee is good.
I dropped one star because the service was slow and because they don’t offer decaffeinated coffee.
A 5 star coffee shop should not only have decaf coffee they should have Swiss water processed decaf.
Atmosphere is really good, nice stone top counters and table tops.
Just found out they don’t accept cash. That’s awful the cash free economy is the devil 👿 had to drop another star for that.
