The Tax Shop of Albany, Inc., located in Albany, Georgia, was established in 1946 by Albany Accounting. John R. Gunter purchased Albany Accounting in 1978. Then, in 1980, John branched off to form The Tax Shop. We provide income tax preparation (individual, business, corporate, LLC, estate and gift tax returns), complete payroll and sales tax services, monthly accounting services for businesses and corporations, financial statement preparation, tax planning, and complete audit services for IRS and State of Georgia audits. We have over 30 years experience. We are a member of the following professional organizations: NAEA, NSTP, NATP and the Albany Chamber of Commerce.
