I strongly advise against investing any money in this college. My husband has been attempting to contact the director for months regarding an important issue, yet she continues to ignore his phone calls and emails. Despite the significant amount of money we have spent on this institution, we have received no support or resolution.
Additionally, my husband was out sick with COVID, and ever since, the college has treated him unfairly. This level of unprofessionalism from the director, Rachel McPherson, is unacceptable. Furthermore, the secretary, Brenda, was unable to assist us or schedule an appointment with the director. When I attempted to escalate the matter by reaching out to the college president, I was not provided with any contact information. Instead, the director herself advised me to “Google” the president’s contact details, which is highly unprofessional.
For anyone considering this institution, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for a better educational experience.

I have not received my referral fee despite multiple follow-ups. If you are considering referring someone to this school, I would advise caution, as there seems to be significant difficulty in processing referral payments. Additionally, I was asked to create an invoice for the referral fee, which should be their responsibility, and was also asked for my SIN number, which I find concerning. I have been redirected to several individuals without any resolution to this matter. Based on my experience, I would rate this service 0 stars.
Overall, I'm incredibly grateful for the time I've spent at Edison College Canada. It's a place that not only prepares you for a successful career but also helps you grow as an individual, the director and the teachers Ms. Theresa and Ms. Laura are so lovely and friendly. I would highly recommend this college to anyone seeking a holistic and enriching educational experience.
I have recently completed my diploma in Edison college. The campus itself is beautiful, with lots of green spaces and modern study facilities and their job fairs have been incredibly helpful for landing internships. Tutoring services and academic advisors are always available to help students succeed.
"I’ve had a fulfilling experience at Edison college and I’m confident it’s preparing me well for my career.
Thanks to Mrs. Rachael.McPherson and Mrs. Laura to be supportive and helpful. 😊

The campus director is very helpful and kind. She is always ready to help, and encourage everybody. Laura is the best instructor ever, she is so patient and teaches so well.
Stay away from this college by all means. The director Rachael McPherson is utterly rude, a liar, and very unprofessional. I scheduled a meeting with her, and upon arrival she did not introduce herself, no handshake or anything. I wouldn’t have known who she was if I didn’t see her name tag. She would gaslight you, cut you off whenever given the chance to speak, and could not answer my questions. She also would repeat her self often and make no sense. I asked for the president of the college contact information so I can file a complaint, but she could not give me his information. This lady is incompetent in her position. They will not support you.
Don’t waste your money or time on this place.

Zero stars director will gaslight you, she is a bully. Textbooks are inaccurate and American. Teachers just read off PowerPoints and don’t actually teach anything. When you ask for help you get either ghosted or told to review the PowerPoint. Poor scheduling and class structure. They don’t give rubrics on assignments, nor do they give feedback on assignments.
School gives off diploma mill vibes, it’s a shame there are not more public education options on Vancouver Island, as this school charges an exceptional amount of tuition for the “education” you will receive.
Reviews can’t be trusted ask students who’ve completed the program. Pretty sure this college must pay people to review, it’s pretty interesting how all the reviews sound the same.

I recently visited Edison College to inquire about the health care assistant program, and it was a great experience! The staff and faculty were so friendly and helpful and making sure all my questions were answered. The campus itself felt welcoming and well-kept. I would genuinely recommend edison college to anyone exploring their options in continuing education.
I would highly recommend Edison College to anyone looking for a quality education in Canada. The combination of dedicated faculty, comprehensive support services, and an engaging campus life has made my time here truly enjoyable and transformative. I feel well-prepared for my future career, and I’m grateful to be part of such a wonderful community.
I am so happy to be a student in Edison College! Staffs are easy to deal with and very helpful. I would like to take this opportunity to commend Chandra for his outstanding guidance on the process. You ace on your craft and indeed you are an asset!
Edison College staff are very accommodating and patiently answers my queries most especially Ms Elaine, the school's Office Administrator and Ms Rachael, the new Campus Director. I am currently a Health Care Assistant student and hopefully I can maximize learning as well as enjoy my stay here in Victoria B.C. More power to Edison College!
Miss Laura has been an incredible support, guiding us through every challenge with patience and dedication. Huge thanks to Edison College for providing excellent support throughout the program.
At a recent networking event, I had the pleasure of meeting Rachael McPherson, the new Campus Director of Edison College. From the moment I spoke with her, it was abundantly clear that Rachael is a true visionary and passionate champion for the institution. With a warm and engaging demeanor, she eloquently described the remarkable transformation that has taken place under the college's new management team in an impressively short period of time. Rachael's infectious enthusiasm and unwavering commitment to the school's mission were palpable, as she detailed the innovative programs and renewed sense of energy and optimism now permeating the campus. She spoke at length about the college's ambitious plans to expand its academic offerings, enhance the student experience, building powerful community partnerships - changes that are already yielding incredibly positive results. Listening to Rachael outline the bold vision for Edison College's future, I found myself eagerly anticipating the incredible strides this institution is poised to make. Her passion, leadership, and transformative vision have left me eager to see what this college will accomplish next, and I very much look forward to exploring opportunities to collaborate with Rachael and her team in the months and years ahead.
As a HCA student. I highly recommend this school to other student. Because all of the teacher are very approachable and supportive to there student most specially to Laura, Shawn, Janice and Mai they always make sure that all of there student are on the right path. And they are very passionate in there job. Thank you Edison College for providing us a wonderful teacher like them.
Instructors are very good. They are willing to share their knowledge and expertise with the curriculum program and base on their actual experiences as Health Care Provider themselves.
Don't bother. Waste of time, energy and money. The whole place is run my juvenile amateurs teaching American information, with outdated, inaccurate textbooks by instructors with no domain experience in most topics that they instruct. The director will yell, swear and gaslight you if you speak up. You do get a free backpack though.
It is a good program to transition from my current career to a new job. I have been working as a healthcare aide for many years. It was a great choice for experience with Edison College. I met wonderful instructors during my lessons in each subject. There were some misunderstandings between students to instructors but it was nice to fix the problems. What I like most is that I have wonderful classmates helping each other. I have been learning from them because I have been dealing with the language barrier quite a bit, but I did it through with all of my classmates and instructors. Thank you for giving me the opportunity.
Edison College provides a decent educational experience with competent faculty and good resources. However, some aspects could use improvement, such as campus facilities and administrative support. Overall, it’s a solid choice, but there are areas where the college could enhance its offerings.
Edison College offers a fantastic learning experience with supportive faculty and modern facilities. The small class sizes make for personalized attention, and the campus community is welcoming. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a solid educational foundation!
My experience at Edison College was fairly positive, though not without its challenges. The faculty are knowledgeable and generally supportive, but there were a few administrative hiccups that could have been handled better. The campus itself is well-maintained and offers a good range of resources, but I found the communication about some services lacking. Overall, it's a decent choice for those looking for a solid education, but there’s room for improvement in certain areas.
I appreciate all of the help from our instructors from Edison college. Finally I finished my MLA course, I got my dream job too. It was a good decision that I enrolled in this school and it has been a game changer in my life.
As an HCA student. I definitely recommend this school to other students, I can say that this school has been nothing but supportive and helpful to me. I love that this school has always made me feel safe and comfortable, it definitely taught me a lot.
Instructors are all well with their lessons.
