Crystal River Boat Tours

Captain Wayne is the best! We booked our tour last minute and at the end of the manatee season. Wayne took us on a tour of Crystal River, Three Sisters Springs, and the surrounding area. We saw manatee, turtles and an alligator (which was surprise!) we had a relaxing time, great conversation, and beautiful nature scenery it doesn’t get better than that!

Captain Wayne was a great tour guide, host and navigator! The trip was great, enabling us to see dozens of matatees up close and get great videos and pictures, telling us lots of details of the surrounding habitat and local history. As it was a COLD morning in the high 30's when we started out, he brought hot chocolate to warm us along the way... a thoroughly enjoyable trip and great conversations between the 6 passengers and the captain. Highly recommend!

We had the best afternoon with Captain Wayne of Crystal River Boat Tours! We took the sunset cruise and had a truly wonderful experience. He was very knowledgeable, professional, personable, and fun. It was so nice having a smaller group of people on the boat (no more than 6) to give us a private tour experience with great views for all. We saw tons of wildlife, including manatees, dolphins, turtles, and several species of birds including a bald eagle. We got to explore so many neat areas all around King’s Bay and the surrounding springs. I highly recommend taking his tour! We are already planning our return trip!

We had the best time cruising around with Capt Wayne. We saw many different kinds of birds and a few manatees. It was a great way to spend the afternoon. Highly recommend and would do it again.

Capt. Wayne did a great job! He was informative and got us up close to tons of manatees, too many to count. It was a cold day and he even brought hot chocolate to warm us up. After seeing the kayak tours, I think the boat gives you a better viewpoint of the wildlife…and you can move around. We had a party of 5 so our family was the only one on his boat. That made it even better! His price was reasonable and he was professional. Would definitely book with him again.

Captain Wayne brought us on a 2 hour tour of Kings Bay, plus showed us various springs where manatees were amassed. His easygoing manner made us feel at ease, even with lots of... kayakers, scuba divers, other tour boats in the water around us. It was a beautiful day, and a great tour. We took the noon tour which was perfect. We recommend him as a tour guide. Oh, and we even saw a couple dolphins, which was a bonus. Just a beautiful, peaceful day.

Great price, AMAZING experience! Captain Wayne was very knowledgeable of the area. Was great to see the area from the boat and hear the history related. He knew the best places to get pictures of the wildlife and even used his own GoPro equipment to show us the manatee underwater! We would recommend this adventure to everyone!!!

Went out today with my husband and friend. Wayne was very professional, informative and funny. It was a very relaxing tour, saw some manatees and other wildlife. Very clean and comfortable pontoon. I would recommend to anyone interested. If I ever come back to Florida, I will be visiting Captain Wayne again!

What a great day! Captain Wayne was full of information about the areas history. We were able to see a few Manatees, witnessed a Manatee rescue in progress and tons of different bird species.
The weather was perfect, overcast with a slight breeze, great tunes and conversation made for a memorable trip. Will definitely make this something to do on our future visits to FL. I highly recommend this trip for families wanting to enjoy the water habitats and support a small business!

My wife and I booked a sunset cruise. Captain Wayne was very accommodating. He took his time and explained the geo diversity and manatee habitat. The boat was really comfortable and If we wanted to hang out in an area a little longer, he was up for it! The sunset was spectacular. I definitely recommend Captain Wayne and Crystal River boat tours. Put it on your to do list for Crystal River.

Went on a 2 hour boat tour today with Capt Wayne. We had an absolutely great time. It was very educational and got to see a mom and baby manatee. Capt Wayne was awesome and very down to earth. We would definitely recommend going out with Crystal River Boat Tours and

Captain Wayne created a wonderful afternoon for us! We were able to see manatee, dolphin, and so many beautifully scenic spaces that he was able to give background and information on. It was the perfect tour.

You meet up at Pete’s point at the dock and away down the river. He pointed out spring locations we wouldn’t have recognized and spots along the waters edge that had stories to go along with them. Ask about Elvis!

Truly relaxing and appreciated a few opportunities to hop in the water to cool off as well as water (I can’t believe I forgot ours!) the boat has great shade and comfortable seats. Seriously - enjoy having a local provide the eco tour. It’s seriously worth it and makes the rest of your time here much more enjoyable being able to look at the area with more information on what you’re seeing.

Such a wonderful experience! Took my family this evening on the 630 to 830 tour. We caught a wonderful sunset. Captain Wayne was very knowledgeable. Put us on some manatees among lots of other wildlife. We had a great experience. I would recommend to anyone.!!!
