Moshfeghi is Chief of the Retina Division and Professor at the Horngren Family Vitreoretinal Center, Byers Eye Institute, Department of Ophthalmology, at the Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Moshfeghi received training in biomedical engineering as an undergraduate at Tulane University in New Orleans, followed by medical school, internship, and ophthalmology residency also at Tulane. Subsequently he performed fellowships in ocular oncology and orbital disease, followed by a 2-year vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at the Cole Eye Institute of the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
