Soltek Roofing And Solar Ltd

I have so far been in contact with Soltek since August 2025, in particular with Quinn and Allison, and we are soon going to have our roof and solar replaced through them. I have been impressed by their level of coordination, and it is very convenient, of course, that they can both do a roof replacement and solar installation. I will be updating this review once we get our system installed!

Soltek just finished re-roofing for me today, although still have solar panel installation on the way, I would like to share my re-shingle experience here.

The whole process is very well organized and smooth. There’ s not much dust or mess as I expected, it’s actually quite clean and reasonably quiet. No neighbors have ever complained, and we lived as usual inside of the house and they worked on the roof.

After the work was done, they carefully checked if there’s any nails left on the ground, lawn.

What impressed me was the inspector , who came later to do the inspection on the roof and the ground. He looked very responsive and serious about inspection and cleaning. Yes, he searched if there’s missing nails again.

I am very happy with what they have done so far.

Harvey Piche, of Soltek Roofing, was in our neighborhood after the bad windstorm we had (May 30). I didn't have an appointment or anything. He was checking the roof of 2 of my neighbors. Soltek had done repairs on both of them before. Harvey answered my questions and even took a quick look on my roof. He informed me I had no damage from the wind storm. He did mention my shingles were starting to slightly show their age. I really appreciated the help and knowledge. Soltek hires great people. My neighbor's say Andy (the owner) is great also. I definitely recommend this company.

Soltek did an excellent job installing a bathroom vent into my roof. They were reasonably priced, flexible for my needs, and polite to deal with.
Harvey, the installer, was great. He was punctual and professional. He was mindful of my "working from home" situation. He was very helpful in checking out the job and making sure everything was properly installed. I saw pictures of the installation and how the Soltek methods would prevent common problems of improper installations.
I would definitely recommend Soltek.

Had a leak repair done on my roof about 2 years ago, was an emergency job. The guy who showed up didn't have work shoes.. had to borrow my hiking boots, nor have a ladder to get up into my attic or onto the roof to assess the issue at hand so had to use mine. The guy who showed up was super awesome and nice to deal with though. I'm in a duplex so they fixed my place and also fixed the neighbour's house being it has the same issue but no leak yet so that there wouldn't be a future problem there. The surprising part was the bill was $1200 and it took the guy about 3 hours to fix both my place and neighbour's. No new shingles were bought so was a very high price but didn't have much of a choice being there was a downpour and lots of water was coming in through the roof. Just felt like was taken advantage of being I needed it fixed and had no other option.

Soltek provided a good price and excellent service in replacing our roof. They were helpful in providing us with clear information on product alternatives. The service was prompt and efficient; they arrived at our house at 8 am with a large crew and the work was all done by 1 pm. They also did a great job on cleaning up the site after installation. Andrew and Alison are pleasant and helpful people, and the service tech Harvey did a great job.

Got an estimate from Soltek to replace my homes shingles that was better than other places I had inquired from. I spoke with one of their people on the phone who explained in detail what I needed and answered every question I had thoroughly . When I decided to use Soltek they made the whole process easy despite the fact I was out of province. They communicated well and took care of everything asap. I’m really impressed with the service i received.

I give Soltek 5 stars. We had them install solar panels on our roof. Alison was amazing she is a great communicator. We had delays with installation of system due to weather. Alison kept us well informed of the situation. Their crews we great cleaned up after themselves and completed the installation. I would recommend Soltek to anyone

I got both my roofing and then solar panels done with Soltek. Their quotes were competitive, especially for solar, and the product was delivered as promised. Harvey (roof) and Matt (Solar) were very responsive to inquires and support after the installations were complete. Strongly recommend going with Soltek.

I am very happy with the service Soltek gave us. We had cedar shakes on a fairly large 2 storey house in Sherwood Park. We received quotes from 3 companies which were all close and Soltek was low. A good friend of ours who does roofing had worked with their crew and also recommended them to us. We were not disappointed. Their crew worked through the heat wave where we saw 35-38 deg days until noon. I could barely take my dog for a walk at 9am it was so hot on those days. Very pleased with the product (malarkey vista) and especially the install. They cleaned up the place well too after they were finished. They even had to deal with a wasp nest we didn’t know about, and the venting looks great. They charged exactly what they quoted. Super happy with them and highly recommend.
