Recently switched to buying all cat food for 3 cats and supplies for 3 aquariums and a pond, at PetSmart Whitby. Bought fish and supplies at this Whitby store today and my experience was not as a customer should expect. Staff serving me was unknowlegeable about products. At one point left to ask another staff a question. While gone she served another customer while I waited. I asked for 2 male fish. She asked me how she would know the difference. With a rosy barb, the difference is very clear.
Aftee leaving I realized I had been charged 4.19 instead of 3.99 for background graphic paper. I had only bought 4 sections but went back, for the 90 cent refund and to let them know. I did not receive any kind of apology for the error and was told they have to manually change the price sign each week and they have a million to do so its easy to miss one. In other words......the customer being overcharged and inconvenienced did not matter. As well it is quite ok for the staff to not do their job. I will be taking my pet supply shopping elsewhere. BTW......the one time I don't get a survey on my receipt.
