Pet Valu

I have been a customer at this store since it opened. When the membership program began I joined and appreciated the benefits, such as the 5% discount on cases of canned cat and dog food. We have three dogs and a cat so spend on average $200 per month just on food, with extras from time to time. Today, I went to purchase 12 cans of Natural Balance canned dog food expecting the 5% discount I have been given
each and every time. Amy, the store manager refused to apply the discount because I had different flavours which were priced differently. Despite my explaining to her that in all my years of shopping at this store I have received this small discount, she refused. I walked out of the store and went to the other PetValu at Pt. Union and Lawrence, where I did not even have to ask about the discount, which was instantly applied and received numerous apologies for the way I was treated at the Rylander store. While I had patronized both stores, more of my shopping had been done at Rylander, which has, as of now completely lost my business. Nice job, store manager! P.S. My purchases were over $95. just for today.
