PetSmart - Closed

We were really surprised how knowledgeable and professional the dog training staff are. Our trainer is well versed in various methods of training, and has helped us move towards rehabilitating our assertive dog using the clicker method instead of aversives. The private lessons with Denise are very affordable, and we highly recommend them.

My dog is always groomed well and treated kindly by grooming staff. Product Prices are somewhat high in the store, but service is excellent.

We were regulars for over 2 years for our Royal Standard poodle, but then we had poor service 2 grooms in a row, where they trimmed more than I asked for and did not clean his ears, even though I specifically asked for the ears to be plucked, and repeated it more than once. they charged me for it too. So, I went to the Petsmart in Cambridge, on Hespeler, and they did a fine job and listened really well to my requirements. Now I am having to go back to Gateway because the Hespeler store is closed for renovations, so I hope that I don't get a half naked dog back when he is only going in for a bath and ears and nails trimmed.

This store is well stocked and had friendly service. Not too busy like many pet stores and well equipped for pets to shop in.
