Philip Corvo, MD, is the Chairman of Surgery at Norwalk Hospital, is a nationally recognized surgeon, leader, and educator with over twenty-five years of experience. He is double board-certified in general surgery and critical care surgery.  His use of opioid-sparing surgery and tailored antibiotics may help patients have less pain, shorter hospital stays and lower infection rates. Dr. Corvo built a 3-D printing lab that enables him to create models of a patient’s anatomy, which may help improve surgical accuracy and patient safety. He has instructed numerous generations of surgical residents and Physician Assistants.
