D'Arcy's Arc

Once you walk through the doors of D'Arcy's ARC you realise right away that this isn't your average animal shelter, this is the way all animal shelters should be. It is clear the animals are relaxed and enjoy their living quarters as they are sprawled out all over their cat apartments. The dogs are quite content in their dog quarters and can be viewed through a window.
The staff isn't the average staff either, seeing as so many animals go in and out of the shelter it is hard to believe that they know each animal by name and personality. They helped me find the cat that best suited my life style by asking me a series of questions and matching me with who they thought would fit best. They didn't rush and understood that this was a big decision on my part, as this would be my new family member.
Once I left D'Arcy's ARC with my new cat I felt confident and happy. This was my new baby and the staff had assured me they would be there to answer any questions or for advice whenever I needed it.
Animals shelters can learn from D'Arcy's ARC, they are definatly there for the animals, from taking care of them when they come in, to getting to know each one and then to saying goodbye and finding the perfect forever home for both animal and human.
