Larry Goodwin and his team at McCullough Funeral Home go above and beyond for every family they serve. You can tell from the moment you meet them that their hearts are in this work. Larry has a way of making you feel seen, heard, and cared for—like you’re not just another family, but his family.
I’ve seen firsthand the compassion and attention to detail that Larry brings to every service. He treats every loved one with honor and respect, and every family with kindness and patience. There’s just something special about the way he helps people through such a difficult time.
If you want a funeral home that truly cares, one that handles everything with grace and sincerity, go see Larry Goodwin at McCullough. You'll be in great hands and your family will be cared for.

Everyone i know has used this funeral home and now I know why. Not only is it beautiful, but when I had to figure out how to deal with losing a loved one they were with me every step. Even the way that they speak with you is so gentle and kind, it made everything a little easier.
I am very pleased with the service that McCullough Funeral Home provided for my brother's Memorial Service. There are complicated relationships in our family and James listened to my concerns and responded with a solution that brought me peace of mind.
I also like the online book and tribute. The flowers were beautiful and it seemed that they came from local florists, not online companies.

Unfortunately, I would like to say this is a once only experience and I learned my lesson but not so. We had a bad experience during covid but I chalked it up to covid. Now my mother passed. While I had to call for her ashes, not them call me. I go to pick them up after waiting over 40 minutes the gentleman brings someone else's, not my mother's. Bless Michael for trying to make things right but this is not a time that things really cannot be made right. Days after this i go for her death certificate, once again I'm in a holding pattern. I'll admit I can't bear to be at the funeral home so after waiting 15 minutes I left. Once again Michael tried to make it right but I'm so over Mccullough. Scary part is this is where I'm supposed to be cremated. Makes me wonder what my children will endure.
In the trying time of losing our Dad, we found Michael McNeal and his team at McCullough Funeral Home exemplary. I have had less than desirable experiences with others in the past, I'm sorry to say, but in contrast the McCullough team provided the personal care, flexibility, patience and resource breadth that eased our burden. There was no pressure, and no question they couldn't answer. If such a need arrises, and I pray it never does, I am confident the peace of mind, expert knowledge, and professional care of the McCullough team will provide solace.
The staff at McCullough Funeral Home are the most compassionate and caring people I have ever associated with. Michael McNeal and James Williams took great care of my family's needs in the loss of my stepdad, Allen Slentz. Their facility was immaculate and the staff was so kind to my family. I don't think that I can express my gratitude enough for Michael and James. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!
For years we have put off making our funeral arrangements. Recently, we had the opportunity to meet the staff at McCullough Funeral Home and we decided immediately that we would want them, and no other, to carry out our final arrangements. This is the most impressive, compassionate and honest organization I have ever encountered. We were made aware of the benefits for the family to leave pre-arrangments in place and remove that burden from the children we leave behind. Thank you Mccullough Funeral for what you did for us and will do for our family when the time comes that we need your services.
Michael and staff are caring and knowledgeable. They offer their services in a beautiful and peaceful environment. The business is built on family integrity and takes on a ministry aspect. They offer QandA sessions to answer questions and provide guidance.
I am essentially thankful for for staff. My funeral was James who is also the coroner of houston county. They did a absolutely fantastic job with my mother. I would not have anyone else but McCullough deal with my family.
As we get older it seems that we find ourselves gathering more and more often to celebrate the life of a loved one, a friend or to comfort the family of someone that has passed away. I am always so impressed by the professional and caring demeanor of the McCullough staff. The attention to detail is impeccable and demonstrates the highest level of respect. The option of utilizing The Farmhouse, a beautiful more relaxed space for families, to gather before or share a meal after services is a great asset that many funeral homes do not have. In the time of need I will comfortably call on McCullough Funeral Home to help walk me through the process.
So appreciative to the staff for the sincere sympathy and hospitality they showed our family through two separate funerals! My grandparents passed years apart but we were shown the upmost respect and love! McCullough made such an impact on our entire family and I highly recommend them to anyone through the funeral experience.
This is the most professional and compassionate
funeral home I have ever dealt with. They went so far out of their way to make sure every little detail was taken care of with both of my parents. I have been to McCullough for many friends and family members, and every single service has been very personal and unique.

Michael McNeal and the McCullough family have always comforted my family in our times of loss; from the loss of my husband in 2002 until now with the loss of my sister. They also comforted us during the loss of my Dad, Mother and other sister. The employees are so empathetic and compassionate, and that speaks volumes of them. From the minute you walk through the front door, are greeted and welcomed, until you leave knowing your situation has been placed in good hands; always, always asking if there is ANYTHING they can and will do for you.
I highly recommend McCullough Funeral Home if/when you are in need of their services. Just give them a call, or visit their website/FB page to see the many areas they may be of service to you.

During the recent loss of my mother the entire staff of MCCullough Funeral Home were instrumental in helping us get through a very difficult time. From the time Mr. Goodwin picked her up from Hospice until even today, they have shown sincere compassion for us all. My sister told Mr. Goodwin she was sad that mom would be by herself overnight, and he replied, “She won’t be alone; she will be with me.” That gave us so much comfort. They also made sure all our needs were met during that week. Their kindness continues through follow up letters and calls. MCCullough Funeral Home will always hold a special place in our hearts!
I just want to take a moment to recognize Larry Goodwin, Michael McNeal, Oscar and Debbie Dean, Deborah Cusick, and all of the McCullough staff for their love and compassion shown to our family during the recent loss of our mother, Sarah Brown. Their dedication to honoring her memory and making her services full of love was greatly appreciated by entire family! Over the many losses of past years, they continue to give exceptional care and we appreciate this staff making us feel like family!
I highly recommend McCullough Funeral Home!!! This is the most compassionate team I have ever encountered. From the time my family and I walked through the front door, we were made to feel at ease. I had such a sense of relief knowing that my loved one was in the best hands. A very difficult time was made much easier with their help. Everything was handled with attention to detail, leaving nothing for my family to worry about. Thank you so much!!!
