I pass along my personal experience. The moment walked in I was greeted with a smile, to me that set the tone for the entire need for a real-estate lawer. I will not use names out of respect for the staff however I will use this. Miss C I will reference her as was so helpful, the process was seamless Miss C knows her stuff she gave accurate an excellent advice to a rookie home buyer. KUDOS! The transaction was flawlessly handled, BIG DEAL TO ME. Lastly everything was quick the only reason it took more then ten minutes at a meeting was entirely my fault if not for me I would have been in an out in under 5 minutes, we can't make more time so that is exactly what busy people need. I recommend 100% from start to finish.

He was knowledgeable and kind, and once the case became too complicated and outside his (very considerable range of) expertise, he suggested another attorney who practices more closely in that area. He sets the bar for ethical standards in the legal profession, and I would not hesitate to contact him again.

I recently purchased a home and had the documents handled by Sullivan team. I was told that I would receive my trust cheque in a week. I waited over a month and still got nothing. I called multiple times and kept getting told that it will be directly deposited, but still nothing. Finally after I called for the 5th time and complaint I finally received the money 2 months late. Very unhappy with the service.

Neil is an Amazing lawyer, knowledgeable and also kind. We dealt with him 3 years ago and since then recommended him to all our friends and they have only good things to say as well.

We employed this group for our most recent real estate transaction. Although it is supposed to be manage by the lead lawyer Neil Sullivan he never was in the office and was unavailable to contact even by phone during the entire transaction. His team regularly arrived late and left the office early, were tardy in returning our calls or emails and required constant prodding by us just to get them to do their job. We had to ask the same question multiple times before we might hope to get a response from the firm.

They never forwarded our closing documents for our review until the evening prior to our meeting with the firm, even though they had all the documents available for our review weeks earlier. During our final meeting the stand in lawyer sped through all of the documents and even skipped reviewing a few as he had other appointments scheduled after ours and it was a Friday afternoon after all. For us that meeting was the last business day before our possession date which is not a position we should have been put in by this firm as there was absolutely no reason for it.

Many unexpected issues occurred after the transaction and we were always the last to know.

This group has no integrity in what they do, has no one overseeing their work which allows this sort of tardy work ethic. I would give this firm a zero rating if I could.

My advice is to keep looking for another firm as there are many to choose from. It is too bad for us that we employed this firm but you don’t have to.

Neil Sullivan's service is the best in Winnipeg I had after buying and selling several properties there. Neil always responded my questions quickly and clearly. His service fees are transparent, no hidden fees. When I need to order dondo documents from condo management company during the time I was in China, where the Google service is not available. Neil used his personal accounts to order the documents for me, even we never know each other before. He also has an open mind. He wanted to use Zoom meeting to verify my signature, but the Zoom app is restricted in recent years in China. I suggested using WeChat video call. He immediately accepted. Later he arranged the Zoom meeting during the time when I was in Japan. Good timing for the signature verification successfully done. It was a pleasant cooperation. I strongly recommend his service.
