Clean Grain Carpentry LLC came from our owner John Nowack's young dreams. John knew he wanted to be a carpenter since he was seven years old. When he built his first tree house, he was hooked! Since then he couldn't stay out of the wood shop. When he finished high school he went to study at The Northwest School of Wooden Boatbuilding. He majored in yacht interiors. After graduating he worked at Gig Harbor Boat Shop as an instructor. During this time he also built homes, custom furniture, and yachts all over the Seattle area, but Cashmere was calling. He moved back to his home town and started Clean Grain Carpentry.
