Coral West Dental

I’ve had a great experience with Coral West Dental. First, Dr. Rubel provided an emergency tooth repair so I could fly on a plane the next day. AND I WASN’T even a patient of his then. I decided to switch my care to CWD and sign up for their membership plan. A great deal! Had my first regular visit yesterday. Wonderful hygienist Julie. Learned so much!

More like a business, trying to always make money and tell you to get procedures done that aren’t needed. Also belittling, my hygienist shamed me for my gums whereas any other place I’ve gone hasn’t. The 5 star reviews they have are incentivized. Be careful going to this practice.

I went in today to have a cleaning done. It can be a little challenging working around braces. But Jenny did a great job! She took her time, and I felt very satisfied.

First of all, everyone in the office is so kind and friendly. I loved my dental hygienist! She is very smart and kind as well. She knew I had anxiety about my appointment and talked me through everything before she did it. I never once felt ashamed for where my oral health stands. Instead, she was understanding and never pushed something I wasn’t comfortable with. I had options given to me which made me feel more in control. I left feeling confident in the game plan we set up and hopeful my oral health is going to get better. I would recommend this place to anyone I know and will be making an appointment with Addie for my husband as well. Thank you for making something very uncomfortable for me a nice experience. They all deserve 10 stars each!

I enjoy coming here. All of the staff are great and dr. Rubbell puts at ease and very much explains and includes you in your treatment. You can tell everyone enjoys their job and care about the patients.

When we moved to this area, we searched for a Dentist that hopefully did not have the stereotypical Dentist reputation of not pleasant visits. We found Coral Ridge Dental, and what a great find. The visits are pain free, relaxed, thorough, professional, and have been for the past ten years! The staff and Dr Rubel are terrific, and work at making the visit pleasant. Easy to recommend Coral Ridge Dental to anybody.

Dr Rubel and staff provided full service tooth restoration from root extraction, implant and crown. I am happy to have my full smile back and very satisfied with my new tooth!

I have been going to Coral West Dental for over 10 years and couldn’t be happier with dental care I receive. I had my latest teeth cleaning yesterday and Addison did a great job. She made me feel comfortable in the chair by being professional, caring, cleanliness, and not judgmental of my lack of flossing. Dr. Rubel was joyful as usually and has made me feel great that my teeth are in good health. And when there are issues, e.g., I had a loose crown years ago, Dr Rubel fitted me with a new one. I cannot even feel it. Thank you!

When my previous dental office (for 16 yrs) couldn't get me in for a painful tooth, a friend recommended Coral West Dental. Dr. Rubel and his staff were able to see me the same day! The staff are as wonderful as the stratosphere. Dental procedures cause anxiety for a lot of people, including me. The friendliness of the staff eases that anxiety. Great music, great laughs and amazing care. I highly recommend Dr Rubel, his staff at Coral West Dental.

I just had my teeth cleaned at Coral West Dental by Rebecca. She was great and had lots of good information and helpful hints. She’s a very good listener and put me at ease for the examination.

Coral West PC is the place you’d want to go for dental work! I recently had a teeth cleaning and 3 cavities filled through Dr. Rubel and his staff (shout out to Courteney) and let me tell you, both procedures went so smoothly that you wouldn't even realize you were actually at the dentist's office 😂. The entire staff is outstanding! Very clean office and very welcoming. They make you feel very comfortable and guide you through the entire process. I'm sticking with Coral West as my place for anything dental.

I don't usually write reviews, I don't have the time. I had to write one this time. This dentist absolutely performed a miracle and blew my mind. I'm from out of town and I was in Cedar Rapids for business and my front tooth broke in half one day before my meeting. Not nice, it looked awful. I must have called 10 dentists going into the weekend and I couldn't get anything until Dr Rubel answered. He got me in on an emergency basis and fixed me right up just in time for my meeting. You just don't find service like that anymore. And to top it all off they worked flawlessly with my insurance and his staff was so lovely and professional. Hats off to Coral West Dental in Coralville Iowa. Thank you so much, that was a lifesaver trust me. I will recommend you to my friends in Iowa for sure. Thanks again, you get five stars from me.

100% satisfied. Out of all the dental offices to choose from I couldn't be happier with my choice. My appointment was with Dr. Rubel and Courtney, whose hospitality and bedside manner have completely changed how I feel about going to the dentist. I had a root canal and crown in a difficult location that only took 1.5 hours start to finish and had no pain at all. They walked me through the cost of things and what insurance may or may not cover. They have multiple payment plans. They even contacted me the next day to check up on me. They are easily the most pleasant people I've ever met.

We are newer to Coral West Dental. All staff has been great! Dr Rubel is great and my daughter no longer fears going to the dentist! I would recommend Coral West to anyone!

Be careful and monitor your billing. I was a patient here for over 25 years and the last few years grew more and more frustrated with their billing. I had to continually work with insurance and Coral West to correct bills for services they charged for that were not actually performed and when I finally moved on to another dentist, they stopped sending me bills an instead sent a bill for my son to collections for non payment. They are dragging my sons name through the mud for a bill they never sent. This dentist is playing dirty and not afraid to do anything for a buck. Watch your back.

The targeted treatment plan that included laser therapy was just what I needed! My numbers improved from 50% to 90% in just a few months. The staff is amazing. Highly recommend!

Today was my first experience with Coral West Dental. I went in on a semi-emergency basis. I was seen promptly. I received the proper care for my situation. There was NO upselling of unnecessary services. The staff were incredibly friendly. I was very pleased with the pricing. I highly recommend them. Thank you.

I had a good experience at my 1st visit. I had questions about the procedures and my insurance and they handled it. Everyone was very good at their jobs. Michelle gave me a very thorough cleaning that was overdue. The dentist was very pleasant and has a very nice business.

I had an extremely strong toothache that wouldn't subside, but my dentist was on vacation and I didn't know any other place to go. However, I was lucky to visit Coral West Dental, where they treated me immediately, and in a little less than three hours, they performed a root canal and placed a new permanent crown!! with total pain relief. I'm very grateful to Dr. Rubel's excellent team, especially Courtney; they made me feel very comfortable the whole time. They are excellent professionals, very kind and willing to solve the problem. I recommend them 100%. In two words, I can summarize my experience as friki amazing!!

Our family and 3 generations have been with Coral West Dental for 24 years. Dr. Rubel and his staff is what keeps us coming back. The care is superb and the environment is no other. Staff is always friendly and helpful. They answered my questions. Also worked with my hectic schedule. Appointments have been pleasant experience and they take my anxiety and health needs into account. Dr. Rubel does a great job and is very considerate of his patients needs.

Omg. I’m from Texas but was on vacation wen I started having major pain in my back molar ..I made an appointment the same day n they extracted my molar.. when I say I was a smoker. Look at that black stuff. They encouraged me to quit but as a smoker we all know how hard it is to quit. It has been 9 days n I haven’t had a cigarette n have no intentions of having one.. Shawn n Dr Jeffrey were awesome. They r soooo kind n caring n explained errything I needed to know. Ty soooo much for changing my life n for me making betta decisions when it comes to my health. Ps.
