Heritage Tree Care was formed in 2006 by Joseph Gillingham, a British Canadian citizen aiming to settle down after years of wandering. Having just “retired” from planting (1/3 million) trees across the Western Provinces, it seemed like a logical and fulfilling progression to make a career in the Trees. Toronto seemed like a fabulous place to call home, with an incredibly dense urban canopy almost unparalleled in N.America. Fast-forward nearly 20 years, and Joseph has worked his way to becoming one of only a small handful of owner/operator ISA Board Certified Master Arborists working in Canada. Together with his irreplaceable team of passionate tree educators, Heritage Tree Care -has serviced thousands of trees across the GTA, leaving behind safer, more beautiful gardens and happy homeowners.
