Sausage roll: 5/5 delicious, I love a savoury pastry so this one is it! The sausage itself had a really good flavour and pastry was so flaky. Mouthwatering.
Pistachio croissant: 3/5 reading the reviews, it's really hard to get ahold of but got one at 9:30am on a Saturday. I enjoyed it, filling was perfect amount of sweetness and the crusted pistachio was beautiful and crunchy. Glad I tried it but for $10, I don't think I'd get it again.
Sausage Breakfast sandwich: 5/5 delicious, must be the same sausage they use in the sausage roll. English muffin was nicely toasted and the hot sauce was a nice touch!
Chocolate chip cookie: 3/5 good, but for the price I wouldn't get it again.
70% dark chocolate croissant: 5/5 so good, wish it was cheaper than $7.25 each but each bite was perfectly flakey on the outside and soft inside and balanced with the perfect sweetness
Roast beef sandwich: 5/5 it was $22.50 so I debated long and hard but I can’t even hate bc it was so delicious, the thick wad of roast beef was fresh and didn’t taste like deli meat roast beef, bread was flat but complimented the sandwich perfectly, caramelized onion and mustard just hit perfectly on a high quality sandwich! Will get this when budget allows.
Bit of a pricier spot, but the pastries are good and service in the patio was friendly.

This is one of my favorite bakery that you must try! Their croissants are simply amazing. Plain croissant is great but my personal favorite is pistachio croissant! However, it only comes out at specific time so please make sure to check their website or Instagram prior to your visit. You also can't pay for specific bakery in advance. You have to be there at the right exact time! I know it is troublesome but I guarantee you that if you are pistachio lover and serious about top notch bakery, this is the place!
Best pistachio croissant in the city, and I’ve tasted many. Great texture and I love that there’s not a lot of pistachio cream in the middle. Also had the breakfast egg muffin and it was delish. Homemade sausage patty was juicy and flavourful. They have outdoor seating so you can actually eat there.
Emmer is truly next-level. I had the best croissant I’ve ever tasted — and that’s coming from someone who’s had them in France and New York. Everything we tried was phenomenal, from the pastries to the perfectly spiced chai. The customer service was just as impressive — warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. It was all so good, I couldn’t leave without buying a T-shirt to rep Emmer in the Caribbean. A must-visit for any pastry lover in Toronto! Thank you so much Emmer team.
Absolutely phenomenal! I have to admit that these are some of the best pastries I’ve ever had in my lifetime. The blueberry cream danish was heavenly, the sausage rolls were delicious and the perfect size, and the ham and leek quiche was so buttery and delicious. Our group would have continued to order more items from the menu if we had the stomach room for it. Flat whites were a perfect addition to the pastries. The covered patio outside was so lovely and relaxing. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend- get here early.. you won’t regret it. 🥰

Quite famous place with long queue, took around 15 mins. Got the sour cherry cheesecake croissant. Taste was different and good. The price is too steep though, $10 for a croissant is very much on the higher end.
There is a spacious seating area adjacent to the space. They have a bunch of brunch menu options too which look good.

Hands down one of our favorite spots in the city whenever we’re craving a good treat!
Their croissants are unbelievably buttery and flaky—easily some of the best we’ve ever had (trust me, the standards are high—my girlfriend’s from France) and we have no problem lining up for them.
We also love their breakfast options, especially the sausage egg and cheese sandwich (one of the best in Toronto!) and the bacon butty—the sourdough bread is amazing.
Other must-tries include the sausage roll, the sourdough baguette, and from the lunch menu, their BLT is one of our all-time favorites.
Everything is made with care, and it really shows in the flavor and quality 👏🏻
Definitely worth the hype!

This bakery often has lineups. Their most popular item is the pistachio croissant and it sells out pretty fast in the morning. They have a good amount of bread and pastries (savoury and sweet) to choose from. They have a patio where you can sit with your goods, drinks, sandwiches from this place. Whatever you choose, you need to lineup, place your order for to go or to sit down. If there anything that needs to be prepared for you, you take a number and wait seated at the patio. I’ve tried their croissant which is one of the best I’ve had in the city. It’s nice and flaky crispy and buttery. Their pistachio croissant was also good, even though I found it a bit on the expensive side. Their black sesame bun is good too. I’d like to try their sandwiches one day. Definitely recommend the place even though I find ordering and getting your order could be improved / be a bit faster.
Tiny place, don't open Monday and Tuesday, croissant is delicious but prices are ripped off, ordered a schnitzel, pork meat tasted nothing in a small bin with a "sample" of coleslaw and mayo.
Additional business details
We work tirelessly every day to bake as much as possible, but due to space constraints — we can’t guarantee we’ll have our entire menu on offer when you visit.
Additionally, because we have a cadenced baking schedule, we ensure our products are incredibly fresh, coming out as the day progresses. But this means we may not have some products in the morning, similarly we may not have some products in the afternoon.
This also means we might be experimenting with a new recipe, so look out for new treats!
