Sudeep Gupta, DO joins The Iowa Clinic Downtown Family Medicine department with a passion for providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages. He chose The Iowa Clinic for its collaborate environment and the ability to provide exceptional patient care. Dr. Gupta enjoys the unique opportunity Family Medicine presents to be able to care for patients from infancy through their senior years. The ability to support patients through various health challenges and milestones is something he finds most rewarding about his practice. An Ames, Iowa native, Dr. Gupta completed his medical degree at Des Moines University and has been in medical practice for over 25 years. Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf and cheering on Iowa State athletics and the Minnesota Vikings. He also enjoys spending time with his kids and wife of 28 years, who he married after knowing her for just three weeks! If he wasn’t a provider, Dr. Gupta might have pursued a career in teaching economics or working in finance.
