Upon completing a 4-year apprenticeship straight out of high school, Matt worked as a foreman building bridges, docks, and superstructures. In 2016, after twenty years in construction, Matt started Woodland Workers because he wanted the flexibility to spend more time with his two young sons. Over the last 7 years, he has provided numerous homeowners with home repairs and upgrades, outdoor structures, woodwork, custom cabinetry and furniture. “What I enjoy most about my work is the challenge and the feeling of accomplishment when I complete a job.” As the demand for his services grew, Matt realized that the business needed to expand. In 2022, he became a licensed general contractor and Woodland Workers became Woodland Builder. He employs skilled tradesmen and experienced subcontractors to provide a variety of residential and commercial services.
