Staff are friendly, dr is knowledgeable, however they overcharge and don't tell you until after the appointment. I can only guess it's because they know patients will go elsewhere. Make sure you inquire about costs before making your appointment, even if it sounds like it should be covered/included.

I have been going to Dr. Hadden's clinic for a few years now. On my most recent visit, I asked if the pupilar distance could be included in my prescription. It is literally something that takes less than 30 seconds to do and requires no medical expertise. Despite that I was told it is against their office policy to do that but I could pay their optician $25 to get that measurement. I promptly decided to take my business elsewhere. I find all optometrists are the same unless you have someone you trust. It comes across as a process that is intrinsically prone to errors and depends on the clarity of communication between the patient and the optometrist. I don't know how I can communicate well with someone who I can't trust... and how do I trust someone who is out to nickel and dime me. I took my own PD measure for now but will find an optometrist who puts patient's interest first.
